Writers' Workshop, where local playwrights are invited to spend eight months in residence at the company researching and writing new works with the feedback from artistic staff and their fellow writers. Both Allbaugh and Keller will continue working closely with Ritchie and Associate Artistic Director Kelley Kirkpatrick to oversee all artistic responsibilities of the nonprofit theatre company, including productions across the Ahmanson Theatre and Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles and Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City.
Arcola Theatre today announces the European premiere of Until The Flood, written and performed by Pulitzer Prize nominee Dael Orlandersmith. The production, directed by Neel Keller, will be the first by Arcola Theatre at the Edinburgh Festival. It opens at the Traverse Theatre on 2 August, with previews from 1 August, and runs until 24 August. It then transfers to Arcola Theatre, London, opening on 6 September, with previews from 4 September and running until 28 September.
