National Alliance for Musical Theatre is now accepting submissions for the 2021 Festival of New Musicals, which will take place on Thursday, October 21 and Friday, October 22, 2021. All writers can submit a free application for Festival consideration if submitted by December 21, 2020.

New Repertory Theatre has added ten fantastic new members to its Board of Directors. Working alongside New Rep's Anti-Racism Action Plan, which states that board will be comprised of 50% members of color by July 2023, members who identify as Black, Indigenous, and/or People of Color now account for 33.3% of the board.

After 52 years, Denny Reagan, Muny President and CEO, has announced plans to retire in December of 2021. Beginning January 2022, Reagan will assume the role of senior advisor. In this role, leadership will rely on his breadth of experience and knowledge as the theatre completes its Second Century Capital Campaign.
