Lincoln Center Kicks Off LCT3 Spotlight Series With SHABASH!

Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3, kicks off its new LCT3 Spotlight Series with SHABASH!. Led by LCT3 Associate Director, Natasha Sinha, and presented in collaboration with Hypokrit Theatre Company's Tamasha, SHABASH! is a summer spectacle of new music and comedy celebrating a range of exciting new work by artists of South Asian descent, hosted by Danny Pudi ("Community") and Parvesh Cheena ("Outsourced"). SHABASH! will play three performances only on August 2nd, 3rd, and 4th at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street).

Melissa Li's and Kit Yan's new musical Interstate, has been extended due to popular demand. Interstate, which opens the 2018 New York Musical Festival tonight at Theatre Row, will play to a sold-out house. An additional performance, has been added on Sunday, July 15 at 5:00 pm.

Interstate, a new musical created by Melissa Li and Kit Yan, has been selected as one of 12 productions to take part in the 2018 New York Musical Festival Next Link Project. The workshop production will open the festival and features a diverse mix of talent while showcasing the journey of two Asian transgender artists. Interstate is directed by Jessi D. Hill, choreographed by Jessica Chen, with music direction by Karen Dryer.

NYMF Announces Initial Lineup for 2018

The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) announced today 11 of the 12 productions slated for 2018 NYMF. Among the shows announced in the lineup are the Next Link Project selections, as well as the first of two invited productions. Now in its fifteenth year, the 2018 Festival will take place July 9th through August 5th at locations on West 42nd Street in New York City. Dan Markley serves as NYMF Executive Director and Rachel Sussman serves as Producing Artistic Director.

The New York Musical Festival has announced that due to an overwhelming number of submissions for its 2018 Next Link Project, they have decided to extend the deadline to Wednesday November 8 at 11.59pm EST. This is an extension of one week from the previously announced deadline of today, November 1.

LCT3/Lincoln Center Theater opens its 2016-2017 season with the world premiere of The Harvest, by Samuel D. Hunter, directed by Davis McCallum. The Harvest, whose cast will feature Gideon Glick, Scott Jaeck, Leah Karpel, Peter Mark Kendall, Madeleine Martin, Christopher Sears, and Zoe Winters, is running for six weeks only through Sunday, November 20th at the Claire Tow Theater. Opening Night was last night, October 24th, and BroadwayWorld has photos from the festivities below!
