Rasaka Theatre Company announced casting for the World Premiere of VANYA (or, 'That's Life!'), adapted from Chekhov by Lavina Jadhwani, directed by Kaiser Ahmed.

AMONG THE DEAD, a new play by Hansol Jung, will be given its world premiere by the award-winning Asian American Off-Broadway Ma-Yi Theater Company at HERE (145 Sixth Avenue, NYC), with its official opening night tonight, November 10th.

The Amoralists has announced their 2016-2017 season, which will include the world premiere of Ken Urban's NIBBLER, directed by Benjamin Kamine, and 'Wright Club's 'Wright Nights, featuring six new authors in the company's year-long playwright development program.

In conjunction with its upcoming production of Tiger Style!, the Huntington Theatre Company will host a number of special events and post-show conversations.

Continuing Adirondack Theatre Festival's (ATF) 22nd summer season of professional theatre is A COMEDY OF MANORS. Performances will be held at the Charles R. Wood Theater (207 Glen Street in downtown Glens Falls) July 12th - July 22nd at 7:30pm with a special matinee performance on July 20th at 2:00 pm. The Goodman commissioned world premiere of CARLYLE by Thomas Bradshaw, directed by Benjamin Kamine, features an all-Chicago cast with James Earl Jones II in the titular role, joined by Patrick Clear (Janice's Father), Maureen Gallagher (Janice's Mother), Tim Rhoze (CARLYLE's Father), Levenix Riddle (Omar/Tyrone), Tiffany Scott (Janice/Sarah), Charlette Speigner (Anita Hill/Shaniqua) and Nate Whelden (Mark).

WASHER/DRYER, a new comedy by Nandita Shenoy about a recently eloped young couple- Michael and Sonya- who discover they haven't been entirely truthful with each other as they settle into Sonya's Manhattan studio apartment with its own stackable washer/dryer as a key perk. Directed by Benjamin Kamine, WASHER/DRYER comes to NY following its world-premiere at East West Players in Los Angeles last winter, and a subsequent production in Chicago this fall.
