'DARK PLANET: Not Your Mother's Valentine's Day' presented by Planet Connections Theatre Festivity; performing Thursdays and Fridays, February 6 - 21 at the 14th Street Y Theatre, 344 E 14th St, New York City.

"Made for Each Other,"the world's first gay marriage/Alzheimers play, is coming to the Hollywood Fringe Festival from New York, for six performances only, June 10 through the 22nd at Studio C, 6448 Santa Monica Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90038.

There's a distinctive play being performed at 59E59 Theaters. Vivian's Music, 1969 is a two-hander that tells a compelling story about the struggle of African Americans living in the segregated Midwest in the late '60's. Inspired by real events, the play is written by Monica Bauer, directed by Glory Kadigan, and stars Rusell Jordan and Kailah S. King.

From September 9 to 16, Theater for the New City's Dream Up Festival will present 'Two Men Walk Into a Bar' by Monica Bauer, a Cain and Abel story that takes place in a Texas dive bar in the middle of the Iraq War.

EAST TO EDINBURGH begins on Tuesday, July 10 for a limited engagement through Sunday,  July 29. Urban Stages' Board of Directors and founding artistic director Frances Hill will celebrate 'The Magic of Theater by presenting the 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award to legendary actor Jim Date at their Gala Benefit.   The event will be held at the Boathouse in Central Park at 6:30PM on May 14, 2018. The award will be presented by stage and screen star Simon Jones (Farinelli and the King, The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy).

This drama with comedy is about adoption, obligation, and the ties that may, or may not bind.
