This Summer, TNT is debuting some hot new and returning shows with the series premiere of Claws and Will and the season two premiere of Animal Kingdom.

The New York Musical Festival (NYMF), previously known as The New York Musical Theater Festival, will honor Tony and Grammy Award winning composer and lyricist Duncan Sheik, Casting Director Tara Rubin, and former NYMF Board Member and Treasurer Frank Troutman at its 2016 Gala hosted by Mo Rocca on Sunday, November 13 at the Edison Ballroom in Midtown Manhattan (240 W 47th St, New York, NY 10036).

Principal photography is underway on New Line Cinema's comedy LIFE OF THE PARTY, starring award-winning actor Melissa McCarthy under the direction of Ben Falcone. McCarthy and Falcone co-wrote the screenplay and will produce through their production company On the Day Productions.

Turner's powerhouse media brands TBS and TNT have renewed three original series currently airing on the networks: the critically acclaimed TNT drama Animal Kingdom, the new TBS series Wrecked and the hit TBS comedy Angie Tribeca.

TNT's chart-topping hit Rizzoli & Isles is back this summer with Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander as Boston's toughest crime-solving duo. The show will return this summer for its seventh and final season.

MCC Theater, in association with Kurt Deutsch, President of Sh-K-Boom/Ghostlight Records, will hold an invite-only workshop presentation of the new musical ALICE BY HEART, the latest collaboration from Tony and Grammy winning Spring Awakening composers Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater.

TNT has added two new original dramas to its 2016 slate. Good Behavior, starring Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey) and Argentine-Spanish actor Juan Diego Botto in an adaptation of the Letty Dobesh novels by Wayward Pines author Blake Crouch

Sheik and Sater are best known for their 2007 rock musical Spring Awakening which won eight Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, and Best Original Score.
