The York Theatre Company has announced the schedule of upcoming online activities of live chats and panel discussions with past production and creative team members, and a special York Members Night via The York's Facebook page.

'When it comes to musical celebrity biographies, for stage or screen, whether it's 'Incendiary Blonde' or 'Love Me or Leave Me' or 'Funny Girl,' for that matter, the plots usually tend to be highly fictionalized,' says Tony Finstrom, who's just written a new musical biography for the stage titled 'GLAMOUR GIRL!, The Jan McArt Story.'

Storyville will have played 8 preview and 27 regular performances.

The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Andrew Levine, Executive Director) will host aspecial gala event featuring several numbers from the Richard Rodgers Award-winning new musical in development, Buddy's Tavern, with book by Raymond DeFelitta, lyrics by Alison Louise Hubbard, and music by Kim Oler. The institutional fundraising event is set for TONIGHT, August 5 at the Alexandre Gertsman Contemporary Art Gallery (652 Broadway, 2nd Floor, between Bleecker and Bond Streets). Portion of the proceeds collected by the Gertsman Gallery will be donated to The York Theatre Company.

Bill Castellino returns to the Odyssey Theatre this month to direct and choreograph IONESCOPADE, based on the work of playwright Eugene Ionesco (Rhinoceros, The Bald Soprano, Exit the King); a project that reunites him with his old pal, musical director Gerald Sternbach.
