Below are the CW Network's Primetime listings for the week of May 22nd. All times in the schedules are EST. 

The CW Network will officially launch its new season in January 2021 with its regularly scheduled series line-up, while loading up Fall 2020 with fresh original and acquired scripted series and alternative programming, it was announced today by Mark Pedowitz, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, The CW Network.

Casting has been announced for the upcoming New York City premiere of Leaving the Blues, a new play by Jewelle Gomez, directed by Mark Finley. Rosalind Brown (original Broadway productions of Footloose and One Mo' Time) will play the lead role of Alberta Hunter, the great American jazz singer and songwriter. The cast also features Michael Michele Lynch, Joy Suddath, Cooper Sutton, Benjamin Mapp, Ameerah Briggs, Tsebiyah Mishael Derry and Erik Ransom.

"You can't handle the truth!" will ring out this weekend as Runway Theatre presents the exhilarating stage play that inspired the hit movie, A Few Good Men. The production opens tomorrow, May 31st and runs for three weekends, Fridays and Saturdays as 8pm and Sundays at 3pm, under the direction of Liz Millea. FOX has issued a third season order for its drama series 'Star,' a network spokesperson confirmed this morning.

“Star” has been renewed for a third season at Fox. The musical drama centered on a girl group trio trying will be returning for the 2018-19 television season.

The Bergen County Players will be presenting the first two one-act plays in the laugh-out-loud trilogy Relatively Speaking for two performances only, at 2 pm on Saturday, January 27th and 7 pm on Sunday January 28th. Performances will take place at The Little Firehouse Theatre, 298 Kinderkamanck Road in Oradell. Grammy Award-winning artists Patti LaBelle and Brodway's Brandy Norwood will guest-star in multi-episode arcs on STAR, beginning this spring on FOX. LaBelle will play Carlotta Brown's (Queen Latifah) tough but loving mother, Christine; and Norwood will play Carlotta's younger sister, Cassie.

Steven Spielberg has adapted War Horse into a feature length film, which is set to be released in movie theaters on December 25. The filmed premiered in New York City yesterday, December 3, and BroadwayWorld was on hand for the red carpet!
