STAGE TUBE: Natalie Weiss Makes MOST LITERAL AUDITION EVER Video

Natalie Weiss, known for her 'Breaking Down the Riffs' series, recently made a new video in which she and Andrew Hodge play two auditioners who take their song titles a bit too literally. The video was filmed and edited by Alex Charak, and also features Eric Shorey, Michael Lorz, Melanie Brook, Grace Wall, and Anthony Apicella.

CLOWN BAR Extends Through 8/23 at The Box

Award-winning Pipeline Theatre Company announces the extension of its critically acclaimed production of CLOWN BAR by Adam Szymkowicz, with music & additional lyrics by Adam Overett. Directed by Andrew Neisler, performances will now run through August 23 at legendary clown haunt The Box.

CLOWN BAR Begins Performances this Weekend at The Box

After a critically acclaimed and extended run in 2013, Award-winning Pipeline Theatre Company will present an encore engagement of CLOWN BAR by Adam Szymkowicz, with music & additional lyrics by Adam Overett. It will be directed by Andrew Neisler. Originally announced to return to its original venue, the production will instead transfer to legendary clown haunt The Box beginning June 14. Opening is slated for June 21.

Staged in a Lower East Side 'dive' bar, this environmental production is directed by Andrew Neisler. Previews begin May 10 at Parkside Lounge with opening slated for June 6.

Making Books Sing to Present DEAR ALBERT EINSTEIN this Spring

Set in 1954, DEAR ALBERT EINSTEIN tells the story of Susan, a 12-year-old star math student who, when starting junior high, struggles between the desire to be herself and the pressure to be like all of the other girls in her class. Her admiration for Einstein, who periodically pops up in her imagination, complicates and eventually helps her along her journey. The musical combines early rock-n-roll, swing, and classical music.

AMERICA'S BREATH OF FRESH AIR Opens at FringeNYC Today

Well, so was one of America's renowned pop songwriters who decided to create his first theatrical musical on that very subject -- America's fascination with reality show celebrity! Composer Arnie Roman, who has written a multitude of hit songs since 1982 for numerous recording artists, has written the music, book and lyrics for AMERICA'S BREATH OF FRESH AIR, an over-the-top satirical musical comedy about the realities of 'reality TV,' the downside of fame, and relationships, which premieres at the 17th Annual NY International Fringe Festival in New York City today, August 11 at 3:30 PM at Theatre 80 (80 St. Mark's Place) in the East Village.
