Primary Stages will host the Fifth Annual New York One-Minute Play Festival, the proceeds from which will benefit the Primary Stages Einhorn School of Performing Arts (ESPA).

Casting has been announced for the Fifth Annual New York One-Minute Play Festival, hosted by Primary Stages at 59E59 Theaters. The New York One-Minute Play Festival will take place Sunday, October 16 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at Primary Stages at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street), the Off-Broadway home of Primary Stages. Seating is extremely limited.

ICT's 26th season will include the West Coast premieres of The Fix, a hard-hitting, political rock musical with book and lyrics by John Dempsey and music by Dana P. Rowe; and Ghost-Writer, a supernatural romance by award-winning playwright Michael Hollinger (Opus).

Villanova Theatre is thrilled announces that David Cregan, O.S.A., Ph.D. has been named Chair of the Theatre Department of Villanova University.

Villanova Theatre is thrilled to announce that David Cregan, O.S.A., Ph.D. has been named Chair of the Theatre Department of Villanova University. Himself an alumnus of Villanova (BA '89), Fr. David is an associate professor of Theatre, and also teaches for the English Department. Before entering the Augustinian Order, Cregan spent four years in New York City working as a professional actor. He earned his Ph.D. in Drama Studies from the Samuel Beckett School of Drama at Trinity College in Dublin; his M.A. in Irish Studies from the Catholic University of America; his M.Phil in Irish Theatre and Film from Trinity; and his M.Div. from the Washington Theological Union. According to Cregan, his scholarly and artistic journey began here at Villanova, on the same campus where he currently teaches, directs, and celebrates Mass.
