The West End Players Guild's 2012-13 season - the troupe's number 102- will be all new to St. Louis theatre-goers, featuring four St. Louis premieres.

Funny, surprising, sentimental and sometimes scandalous stories are all part of InterAct Theatre Company's season kick-off event tonight, October 1. The unique event brings together Philadelphia theatre favorites not only to celebrate InterAct's 25 years, but also in celebration of Philadelphia's theatre boom, which started 25 years ago as well.

Circle Theatre's 31st Season concludes with Ghost-Writer, the award-winning new drama by Michael Hollinger. This supernatural romance previews Thursday, October 11, at 7:30pm; Friday, October 12, at 8:00pm; and Saturday, October 13 (matinee), at 3:00pm. The production of?cially opens Saturday, October 13, at 8:00pm. The opening night performance will be followed by a post-show party with the cast and crew, sponsored by Oliver's Fine Foods and The Cupcakery.

Actors Theatre's 2012-13 season brings five plays to Stage West at The Herberger Theater Center beginning with Mike Daisey's controversial The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs (tonight, Sept. 21-Oct. 7) and ending with the critically acclaimed Good People (May 3-19) by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Lindsay-Abaire.

The Chicago Park District's Theater on the Lake: The Chicago Summer Theater Festival turns 60 this year and is proud to announce the eight artistically diverse Chicago theater companies that will receive encore presentations from June 13 - Aug. 5, 2012.
