Hampstead Downstairs/The Peter Wolff Trust present GODCHILD by Deborah Bruce, directed by Michael Attenborough and designed by Francesca Ready, with lighting design by Oliver Fenwick and sound design by John Leonard. The show runs 31 October - 30 November 2013.

Jack Lowden and Will Keen join Lesley Manville in Richard Eyre's production of Ghosts at The Almeida Theatre. Eyre returns to The Almeida Theatre to adapt and direct Ibsen's Ghosts. Ghosts will run from tonight, 26 September - 23 November 2013, with Press Night on 3 October.

JUSTJONES& The Albany present the world premiere and national tour of an award-winning new adaptation of AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE, adapted and directed from Henrik Ibsen by Rebecca Manson Jones and designed by Jens Demant Cole. The cast features Sarah Malin and Rupert Holliday Evans, with Elizabeth Elvin, Samuel Lawrence, Yana Penrose, Matt Ray Brown, and Lawrence Stubbings.

Hampstead Downstairs / The Peter Wolff Trust are delighted to announce three new plays by three exciting voices in theatre today, Alexandra Wood, Deborah Bruceand Ali Taylor.

The Queen's Birthday Honors were published today, June 15, 'in recognition of the achievements and service of extraordinary people right across the United Kingdom.' Among the honors is a knighthood for Ambassador Theatre Group's owner and producer Howard Panter, who heads ATG's group of 39 theaters, including the recent addition of Broadway's Foxwoods Theatre, which houses SPIDER-MAN.

From 9 July - 9 August 2013, the Almeida Festival returns with a packed programme of fresh collaborations, award-winning artists and brand new shows. The most ambitious and extensive Almeida Festival to date, the line-up features ground-breaking artists presenting shows at different stages of progression, commissioned, co-commissioned, developed and supported by the Almeida.

Almeida Theatre Cast members past and present were out in force to celebrate Michael Attenborough's 11 years as Artistic Director of the Almeida Theatre. On Saturday 13 April, the Almeida Theatre hosted a party at Middle Temple Hall, the very place that saw the first performance of Twelfth Night, to give Michael an amazing send-off. Digital Theatre today (12 February 2013) announces its next release - Tony and Olivier Award-winning actor Jonathan Pryce stars in Michael Attenborough's production of William Shakespeare's King Lear. The production, the second collaboration between Digital Theatre and the Almeida Theatre, was captured live in October 2012 during the play's sell-out run.

Today, The Almeida Theatre Company Board announced Rupert Goold as the new Artistic Director of the Islington based Almeida Theatre Company.

DOCTOR WHO's Billie Piper will make her debut at The National Theatre in London opposite Jonjo O'Neill in Lucy Prebble's The Effect, set to begin performances tonight, Nov. 6. Headlong Theatre company's Rupert Goold will direct the co-production with the National.

Today, 11 October 2012, Michael Attenborough announces that after 11 years as Artistic Director of the Almeida Theatre he will be stepping down in Spring 2013 in order to concentrate on his directing.
