New Light Theater Project is thrilled to present the New York premiere of the hollower written by Liza Birkenmeier and directed by Kristy Dodson. the hollower begins performances Thursday, May 17 for a limited engagement through Saturday, June 9. Press opening is Friday, May 25 at 8 PM.

Access Theater and founding Executive Director, Jacqueline Christy, are proud to announce the appointments of Taylor Norton as Artistic Director and Brandon Burk as Director of Operations. After bidding an incredibly fond farewell to outgoing Artistic Director Sarah Norris and outgoing Producing Director Michael Aguirre, Access has embraced these two new leaders who share a vision for enhancing the critical role Access plays in the lives of emerging artists.

The six theater companies to participate include: Naked Angels, Concrete Temple Theatre, Everyday Inferno, New Light Theater Project, No. 11 Productions, and Thicket & Thistle; the nine individual artists include: Joey Brenneman, Arlene Hutton, Wes Goodrich, Lisa Huberman, Steven Meeker Jr., Kyle Metzger/Dina Vovsi, Robert Siverls, and Sarah Wansley.

In the Bar of a Tokyo Hotel, one of Tennessee Williams lesser known works, opens on Wednesday, March 15 at 292 Theatre on The Lower East Side. The production was recently produced at the 2016 Tennessee Williams Theatre Festival in Provincetown, Massachusetts where it played to sold-out houses. Legendary New York actor/writer/director, Everett Quinton who is best known for his work with Ridiculous Theatrical Company, directs.
