DRIVING MISS DAISY and More Set for Totem Pole Playhouse's 2017 Season

Totem Pole Playhouse, Pennsylvania's premiere summer theatre, located in Caledonia State Park between Gettysburg and Chambersburg, PA, has announced a summer season featuring the stage version of a Best Picture Academy Award-winning movie, two Tony Award-winning musicals, and a celebration of America's most beloved composer, for the theatre's 67th summer season, sponsored by the Franklin County Visitors Bureau. The season will close with an intimate, two-person play on stage for one week only starring a legendary TV couple from a classic hit of the late 80s.

Theatrical legends Brian Dennehy and Mia Farrow have returned to Long Wharf Theatre in A.R. Gurney's poignant and enduring play Love Letters. This special event will run through April 10, 2016 on the Claire Tow Stage in the C. Newton Schenck III Theatre, 222 Sargent Drive. Tickets are $25-$85. The collaborating sponsor is Webster Bank. Storytelling is theatre in its' purest form, but a story can often become secondary or lost when faced with spectacle. In a culture where overproduced mega musicals dominate the box office, it is refreshing to see A.R. Gurney's "Love Letters," a delightful bare bones, two person play with a single focus on human relationships.

LOVE LETTERS Comes to AT&T Performing Arts Center

The nonprofit AT&T Performing Arts Center announced today that tickets for the upcoming national tour of LOVE LETTERS, celebrated playwright A.R. Gurney's enduring romance about first loves and second chances, starring Ali MacGraw and Ryan O'Neal will go on sale Friday, February 5 at 10 a.m.

Ali MacGraw and Ryan O'Neal will star in the upcoming Boston engagement of LOVE LETTERS, celebrated playwright A.R. Gurney's enduring romance about first loves and second chances, playing a one week engagement at the Citi Performing Arts Center Shubert Theatre February 2 - 7, 2016. Presented by the Citi Performing Arts Center, tickets are on sale at the Citi Center box office, through www.citicenter.org  or by calling (866) 348-9738. Press night is set for Wednesday, February 3 at 7:00 pm.

They made history 45 years ago when they starred in Love Story, the most talked about film of its day--Ali MacGraw and Ryan O'Neal now reunite for Love Letters, a special theatrical tour that will make its official tour launch at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts. Love Letters by celebrated American playwright A.R. Gurney is an enduring romance about first loves and second chances. It will perform Tuesday, Oct 13 through Sunday, Oct 25, (press opening Oct. 14), onstage at the Bram Goldsmith Theater at The Wallis. Love Letters is directed by two time Tony-winning director Gregory Mosher.
