Ali MacGraw and Ryan O'Neal will star in the upcoming Boston engagement of LOVE LETTERS, celebrated playwright A.R. Gurney's enduring romance about first loves and second chances, playing a one week engagement at the Citi Performing Arts Center Shubert Theatre February 2 - 7, 2016. Presented by the Citi Performing Arts Center, tickets are on sale at the Citi Center box office, through www.citicenter.org or by calling (866) 348-9738. LOVE LETTERS comes to Boston as part of a national tour of Gregory Mosher's production following a critically-acclaimed Broadway run. The tour includes stops in Los Angeles, Detroit, Dallas, Baltimore, and several other cities.

LOVE LETTERS is the story of Andrew Makepeace Ladd III (O'Neal) and Melissa Gardner (MacGraw), two young people from similar backgrounds who take very different paths in life. Despite leading lives which should not intersect, they can't let go of each other throughout their 50 year friendship, marriages, and families with other people.

LOVE LETTERS was originally produced on Broadway by Nelle Nugent, Barbara Broccoli, Frederick Zollo, Olympus Theatricals, Michael G. Wilson, Lou Spisto, Colleen Camp, Postmark Entertainment Group, Judith Ann Abrams/Pat Flicker Addis, Kenneth Teaton in association with Jon Bierman, Tim Degraye, Daniel Frishwasser, Elliott Masie, Mai Nguyen, Scott Lane/Joseph Sirola.

LOVE LETTERS plays at the Citi Performing Arts Center Shubert Theatre, 265 Tremont St., Boston, Tuesday, February 1 - Sunday, February 7, 2016, for 8 performances: Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm; Wednesday at 7:00 pm; Friday and Saturday at 8:00 pm; Sunday at 6:30 pm; and afternoon matinees at 2:00 pm Saturday and at 1:00 pm on Sunday.
