54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents 'ANDERSON & PETTY and a host of Broadway performers' in 'THE SONGS OF ANDERSON & PETTY' on Saturday, August 23rd, 2014 at 11pm. Anderson & Petty, the transatlantic songwriting duo, present selections from their new song cycle, Lost, and also their recent album, 'You Are Home - The Songs of Anderson & Petty', which features both Broadway and West End stars including Frances Ruffelle, Coleen Sexton, Cynthia Erivo, Gina Beck and Autumn Hurlbert.

The Yale Institute for Music Theatre announces the creative teams and casting for the two original book musicals, Afterland, music and lyrics by Benjamin Velez and book and lyrics by Kathryn Hathaway, and Clouds are Pillows for the Moon, music by Tidtaya Sinutoke and book and lyrics by Ty Defoe, which will be developed in an intensive lab setting in New Haven, June 3-15. The Institute culminates with open rehearsal readings of each project, presented as part of the International Festival of Arts & Ideas, on June 14 and 15.

On Monday, April 28, Symphony Space hosted its spring gala, Fiddler at 50 to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Fiddler on the Roof. The evening also honored the 90th birthday of Sheldon Harnick, the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning lyricist behind the iconic musical. The Symphony Space's Gala, held at Capitale, was co-chaired by Lenore Davis and Amy Wilson. Honorary co-chairs for the evening were Mary Rodgers Guettel, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Harold Prince, and Stephen Sondheim.

Rubicon Theatre Company announces a Broadway Cabaret Benefit that will feature Broadway stars Krysta Rodriguez (First Date, The Addams Family and 'Smash') and Megan McGinnis (LES MISERABLES, Little Women and Beauty and the Beast). The production will run from today, March 26 through April 5 at the Plaza Theatre.
