'The Panic of ’29' is now being presented at 59E59 Theaters by Less Than Rent Theatre. Written by Graham Techler and directed by Max Friedman, it’s a production that our readers will find very entertaining. The show will be on the Upper East Side stage through August 20, 2022.

59E59 Theaters and Less Than Rent Theatre have announced the cast for The Panic of ’29 by Graham Techler (The Moderators) and directed by Max Friedman (Midnight at the Never Get).

Irish Repertory Theatre announced today two productions, two special one-night-only performances and one streaming event for their upcoming winter 2022 season.

Directed with care and attention to detail by Johnny Peppers, who is quickly becoming the go-to guy for Simon shows in Nashville (just prior to the opening of Circle's Brighton Beach Memoirs, his production of Barefoot in the Park for Franklin's Pull-Tight Players closed), the play features young Will Butler as the play's nominal lead-and stand-in for Simon himself, upon whose life the richly drawn characters and situations are derived-Eugene Morris Jerome, a 15-year-old Polish American Jewish boy living in Brooklyn with his parents, his brother, his aunt and her two daughters.
