The Almeida Theatre has announced the full cast for the world premiere of Josh Azouz’s Once Upon a Time in Nazi Occupied Tunisia. Eleanor Rhode directs Adrian Edmondson, Laura Hanna, Ethan Kai, Pierro Niel-Mee, Yasmin Paige and Daniel Rainford in the production which runs from Saturday 21 August – Saturday 18 September.

The season will also see An Elephant in the Garden return to the Barn from 31 August – 11 September following its award-nominated digital run earlier this year as well as the previously announced run of the Olivier Award-winning comedy Jeeves and Wooster in Perfect Nonsense (15 June – 10 July), which opens this week in Cirencester following its run at The Theatre Chipping Norton.

Confronted by a lurking danger outside, she finds solace and tranquillity within the four walls of a space she has frequented many times. This particular bathroom may not be the most familiar, but the essence of it is. These places have become catalysts for new conversations, the forging of friendships and the hiding from enemies. Rosie has experienced a lot in them.

King John's themes are horribly present in today's febrile political climate making it exactly the right time to revive one on Shakespeare's less performed plays.

The Royal Shakespeare Company has announced that singer-songwriter Will Gregory will compose the music for a new production of William Shakespeare's rarely performed tale of a nation in turmoil, King John, directed by Eleanor Rhode.
