TCG Releases Revised, Complete Edition of ANGELS IN AMERICA

Theatre Communications Group (TCG) has announced the publication of a Revised and Complete Edition of Angels in America by Tony Kushner. Available in both paperback and hardcover, this new edition contains both Part One: Millennium Approaches and Part Two: Perestroika in the revised versions that were performed in the 2010 Off-Broadway revival, as well as a new author's introduction.

Geoff Hoyle's GEEZER to Move to The Marsh Berkeley, 1/23

The Marsh announces that Geoff Hoyle's hit solo show GEEZER will move to The Marsh Berkeley January 23 - March 1, 2013, following its multi-extended runs at The Marsh San Francisco. This vivid look at NOT 'going gentle into that good night' by one of the era's most acclaimed physical comedy actors will play Thursdays at 8pm and Saturdays at 5pm at The Marsh Berkeley Main Stage, 2120 Allston Way, Berkeley. For tickets ($25-$50), the public may visit www.themarsh.org or call 415-282-3055 between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Pacific Northwest Ballet Celebrates Three Decades of Stowell and Sendak's THE NUTCRACKER, Now thru 12/29

Pacific Northwest Ballet is delighted to celebrate three decades of Kent Stowell and Maurice Sendak's one-of-a-kind Nutcracker, the Northwest's favorite holiday tradition! Praised by The New York Times as 'original and exciting,' PNB's signature Nutcracker is the brilliant result of close collaboration between PNB Founding Artistic Director and choreographer Kent Stowell and renowned children's book author and illustrator Maurice Sendak (Where the Wild Things Are). The larger-than-life production features over 200 dancers, the mighty PNB Orchestra playing Tchaikovsky's iconic score, gigantic moving sets, and a snowfall at every performance. Joaquin Phoenix Explains Motivations for Spike Jonze's HER at NY Film Festival

Spike Jonze's HER, starring Joaquin Phoenix, Amy Adams, Rooney Mara, Olivia Wilde and Scarlett Johansson will make its World Premiere as the Closing Night Gala presentation for the upcoming 51st New York Film FestivalThe AP reports that the usually press-shy Phoenix was talkative as a post-screening panel, and explained his motivation for the character.
