Jordan Dean, Lance Coadie Williams & Zoe Winters Will Join Patti LuPone & Michael Urie in LCT's SHOWS FOR DAYS

Lincoln Center Theater has announced that Jordan Dean, Lance Coadie Williams, and Zoe Winters will join Patti LuPone, Dale Soules, and Michael Urie in its upcoming production of SHOWS FOR DAYS, a new play by Douglas Carter Beane, to be directed by Jerry Zaks. The production will begin performances Saturday evening, June 6 and open on Monday, June 29 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65 Street).

Inland Pacific Ballet to Present BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, 4/25-5/16

Southern California's premiere professional ballet company, Inland Pacific Ballet (IPB), celebrating its 20th season, presents Beauty and the Beast, a breathtaking full-length ballet based on the time honored fairy tale with 10 performances taking place from April 25 through May 16, 2015 in theaters within the San Gabriel Valley and the Inland Empire. ANGELS IN AMERICA to Return to NYC This Fall with Ivo van Hove's Revival at BAM

Angels in America by Tony Kushner will be revived by Toneelgroep Amsterdam an directed by Ivo van Hove at BAM's Howard Gilman Opera House (30 Lafayette Ave) on October 23 & 24 at 7 p.m. and October 25 at 6 p.m. The production will feature set and light design by Jan Versweyveld, costume design by Wojciech Dziedzic, video design by Tal Yarden and music by Wim Selles. In Dutch with English titles.

Penn Libraries Explores the World of Children's Books

This fall, the Penn Libraries explores the world of children's books in two related exhibitions and a symposium. 'Children's books are unique teaching tools that ignite the imagination and bring form and meaning to language for younger and older generations alike,' shared Carton Rogers, Vice Provost and Director of the Penn Libraries. 'We are pleased to celebrate this genre of work, while at the same time acknowledging two very significant donations to our collections, by highlighting the lives and careers of William Steig, a children's book author who wrote stories that overturn traditional fairytale assumptions, and Atha Tehon, a master at collaboration who helped to shape the works of many of the world's best children's book authors. We hope that members of the Penn community as well as the greater art and literary communities are as inspired by these exhibits as we are.'
