From the team behind the hit comedy revue PAPER CUTS comes another sketch show that's just in time for Father's Day. We all have dads...unless they're missing...or emotionally distant...or we were conceived in a virgin birth. Wait, is society a kind of father if we live in a patriarchy? How about a self-defense instructor? Is Bill Gates my dad? Looks like fatherhood is a lot more complicated than we thought.

PAPER CUTS is an hour-long live theatrical revue from Troy Matthew Peterson Productions featuring original sketches and songs presented through the 2022 Hollywood Fringe Festival.

After a successful online run in January, the irreverent nudist comedy DISROBED – THE VIRTUAL EVENT will return for a second virtual run of four shows from March 19th to March 21st. Surviving quarantine has forced many to take a variety of measures online to socialize. Surprisingly, it turns out, that even includes naturists (nudists!). More home time has led to more nude time with some naturist organizations reporting an increase in membership through events hosted on virtual platforms. Hollywood-based director/writer/actor Troy Peterson noticed this trend. As a subscriber to naturist ideals himself, he reasoned “If you don't need to put on pants to work from home, then why put on pants to put on a show?”

Her five-concert residency at The Stone (a performance initiative founded by John Zorn) in NYC was to take place the very week in March 2020 that the city went into lockdown.

Skylight Music Theatre today announced that due to overwhelming demand, an additional week of performances has been added to Skylight's holiday show, Disney's Newsies. This triumphant Broadway blockbuster opens Friday, November 15 and runs through Sunday, December 29, 2019 with special early bird and family-friendly performance times, as well as a sensory-friendly performance. Fort Worth Opera (FWOpera) announced today that the deadline for submissions has been extended for its seventh annual Frontiers showcase. Applications will now be accepted through midnight, August 31, 2018. The company's innovative program will be held May 6 and 7 during the 2019 Fort Worth Opera Festival (April 26 - May 12). Launched during FWOpera's 2012-2013 season, Frontiers remains one of the few programs world-wide that seeks out unproduced works by the finest up-and-coming composers and librettists from North, South, and Central America, and continues to be acclaimed for the opportunities it provides its chosen artists. Frontiers is generously underwritten by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

Executive Director Richard Russell and Artistic Director Victor DeRenzi have announced that tenor Andrew Surrena will return to Sarasota Opera this season to sing the role of Alfredo in Sarasota Opera's fall production of Giuseppe Verdi's La traviata, opening Today, November 3rd. David Guzman, who was originally scheduled to sing the role, has withdrawn from the production due to illness.
