This autumn, Men in Motion celebrates its 10th anniversary with a special one-off performance at the London Coliseum on Sunday 6 November. Originally conceived a decade ago by Ivan Putrov, dancer, producer and former Principal of The Royal Ballet, Men in Motion sees the male dancer take centre stage, showcasing the development and evolution of men in ballet over the last century.

Today, the Royal Opera House has announced that Resident Choreographer Wayne McGregor's celebrated new work The Dante Project will be available to stream from 20 December. The production will follow The Royal Ballet's Giselle, on-demand from 3 December, and adds to a host of other ROH content across BBC channels too.

This October The Royal Ballet returns for its first full Season in 18 months with a Season featuring world premieres of Wayne McGregor’s The Dante Project, Christopher Wheeldon’s Like Water for Chocolate, a new work by Kyle Abraham as well as classics including Giselle, The Nutcracker and Swan Lake.

The Royal Ballet returned to the stage for the first time in seven months on Friday night. Yes, I could contextualise about how this was bitter sweet and dampened by social distancing but, the dance was too stupendous to give any time to that so let's not and just marvel about how wonderful it was to see them again.
