Broadway's MOTOWN: The Musical and Award Winning Songstress N'Kenge brings LEGENDS! to The Pierre's Two E Bar, Oct 1, 2018 at 8:30PM. N'Kenge will be the first soloist to open up the Broadway Series this season and was the first to give a Solo Show last season.

Amas Musical Theatre (Donna Trinkoff, Artistic Producer) and The Amas Song Salon will offer a special event as part of the company's celebratory 50th Anniversary Season. 'The Art of Managing a Career in the Theatre' with actress/singer/producer N'Kenge (Motown), will be held on Monday, September 24 in a spectacular, sky-high penthouse on Central Park West. The evening will begin at 6pm with cocktails and supper, followed by the presentation at 7:30pm. N'Kenge just returned from her sold out symphonic tour with the Pittsburgh Symphony, Jacksonville Symphony, and Chautauqua Symphony and is thrilled to return to her home town to perform in this special three-week return of ON KENTUCKY AVENUE: A Celebration of Atlantic City's Famed Club Harlem at Aaron Davis Hall in New York beginning on Thursday, July 12. Described as 'a party you don't want to miss' by Broadway star Maurice Hines,' On Kentucky Avenue' transports audiences through time to the heyday of Club Harlem and offers them a fictional musical inspired by a real place: Kentucky Avenue, the center of African-American life in Atlantic City. Opened in 1935, Club Harlem quickly became the number-one destination for black performers in Atlantic City.

NY Times described N'Kenge as 'a classically trained diva that can stretch from Broadway, Pop Soul to Opera.' Patrons of Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra will be in for a real treat with an exciting program featuring Bernstein's Classic 'I Feel Pretty', Aretha Franklin's 'Natural Woman', some fun tunes for the audience can Rock to like 'Funkytown' and much much more! N'Kenge is excited to be performing this brand-new program with the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra for the 'Independence Day Pops Celebration' which is led by the newly appointed Principal Pops Conductor of the Columbus Symphony, Stuart Chafetz who is celebrated across the continent.

Dubbed 'Electrifying' by the NY Post for her role as Mary Wells in Broadway's MOTOWN: The Musical, N'Kenge is an internationally acclaimed singer with multiple laurels to her name. Now, N'Kenge is excited to announce her newest performance in the comeback of 'Newsies' at The Axelrod Performing Arts Center (APAC). This is New Jersey's newest professional theatre, that is proud to present Disney's smash-hit musical, 'Newsies' this summer between June 1-17. Directed and choreographed by Broadway veteran Marcos Santana, N'Kenge is thrilled to play the role of Medda in the production of this award-winning musical. 

Jalen N'Gonda has released his debut EP Talking About Mary, which features the new track 'Don't You Remember' that premiered on The 405 earlier this week. The EP, a culmination of an extraordinary musical journey from the US to the UK, also includes the soul-heavy tracks 'I Guess That Makes Me A Loser', 'We Fell Out Of Love', and the acoustic version of 'Holler (When You Call My Name)'. Some of Broadway's best performers will grace the stage for Disney's Tony Award-winning musical 'NEWSIES,' at the Axelrod Performing Arts Center June 1 - 17. The acclaimed musical, which had its start at New Jersey's Paper Mill Playhouse before heading to Broadway and a national tour, is finally returning to its roots in New Jersey.

Broadway's MOTOWN: The Musical and Helen Hayes nominee N'Kenge, will be the first to perform a solo show at The Pierre Hotel. She will be collaborating with Musical Director Josh Kight on piano. Broadway at The Pierre Series is thrilled to have N'Kenge back after a Sold Out performance a few months ago where she performed alongside Antoine L. Smith and Dan Domenach. Its a One Night Only event on Monday May 7, 2018 at 8:30PM in the Two E Lounge.

LEGENDS: Diana Ross, Billie Holiday, Beyonce' and More Stars MOTOWN: The Musical and Helen Hayes nominee N'Kenge with the Jacksonville Symphony under the baton of Maestro Nathan Aspinall. The show celebrates musical greats from Opera Legends Leontyne Price, Martina Arroyo to jazz and Pop stars such as Tina Turner, Ella Fitzgerald, Lena Horne and Beyonce. Broadway's Kenny Seymour (Memphis, Amazing Grace) is currently Music Director on the piano, and song selections include audience favorites such as "Proud Mary", "Love On Top", "Stormy Weather" and Porgy and Bess's "My Man's Gone Now".

Jalen N'Gonda has released the new single 'I Guess That Makes Me a Loser', which is available today. A series of dates for the spring and summer have also been confirmed, including Bonnaroo in Tennessee, with more headline shows and festival appearances to be confirmed soon. 'I Guess That Makes Me A Loser' is taken from Jalen N'Gonda's new EP, which will follow early summer.

Broadway star and spellbinding songstress N'Kenge will perform at the Miss Germany Finals being held in the Europa Park Arena on February 24th.

TV One is celebrating Black History Month with a full slate of programming offerings that embody the theme, 'Represent the Dream.' The network also debuts a new short form video campaign featuring three-time Grammy Award and Academy Award winning artist, actor and social justice activist Common, which runs throughout the month of February. In the videos, Common discusses a variety of topics related to Black history and issues affecting the African American community: racism and how we can become a better nation; activism, the power of using 'our voice' and movements like Black Lives Matter; self-awareness, his heroes and what representing the dream means today, 55 years after Martin Luther King Jr.'s iconic 'I Have a Dream' speech.

'Motown: The Musical' is, plain and simply, Berry Gordy's revenge on 'Dreamgirls.' After getting displayed in a negative fashion in that show, Gordy decided to create his own version of his career, painting himself in noble colors.
