A slew of stage actors have joined the cast of the upcoming film from Tom McCarthy, including Noah Robbins, Dylan Baker, and Michael Chernus, as well as Tony Award winners Michael Cerveris and Nina Arianda.

The Critics Choice Association has announced the date and honorees for its 2nd Annual Celebration of LGBTQ+ Cinema & Television. Honorees include Michael Urie, Gideon Glick, Bowen Yang, Nathan Lee Graham, and more.

The Peabody Award-winning and critically acclaimed third and final season of the HBO Original comedy series SOMEBODY SOMEWHERE, starring, written, and executive produced by comedian and singer Bridget Everett, returns SUNDAY, OCTOBER 27 (10:30-11:00 p.m. ET/PT) on HBO and will be available to stream on Max. HBO announced that the critically acclaimed comedy series SOMEBODY SOMEWHERE has been renewed for a third season. From Mighty Mint, Duplass Brothers Productions, and creators and executive producers Hannah Bos and Paul Thureen, the series follows Sam (played by Everett), a true Kansan.

Cast includes Bridget Everett (Sam), Jeff Hiller (Joel), Mary Catherine Garrison (Tricia), Jane Brody (Mary Jo), Murray Hill (Fred Rococo), Mercedes White (Tiffani), Kailey Albus (Shannon), and Meighan Gerachis (Irma). New cast includes Tim Bagley (Brad), Jennifer Mudge (Susan), and Barbara Robertson (Darlene). Watch the video trailer now!

Season one stars Bridget Everett alongside Jeff Hiller (“Nightcap”), Mary Catherine Garrison (HBO’s “Veep”), Danny McCarthy (“The Ballad of Buster Scroggs”), and Mike Hagerty (HBO's “Lucky Louie”). Recurring cast includes Murray Hill (“Welcome to Flatch”), Jon Hudson Odom (HBO’s “Lovecraft Country”), and Heidi Johanningmeier (“100 Days to Live”).

The series follows Sam (Bridget Everett), a true Kansan on the surface, but, beneath it all, struggling to fit the hometown mold. Grappling with loss and acceptance, singing is Sam's saving grace and leads her on a journey to discover herself and a community of outsiders who don't fit in but don't give up. As BroadwayWorld sadly reported yesterday, Broadway star Jan Maxwell passed away at 61 years of age after a battle with cancer. The star is survived by her husband, actor/playwright Robert Emmet Lunney, and their son William Maxwell-Lunney.
