The TV and film veteran--and Hollywood wife--is playing father Baptista in the all-female Shakespeare in the Park.

Winners of the 22nd ANNUAL SCREEN ACTORS GUILD AWARDS were revealed tonight, Saturday, January 30th (beginning at 8PM) on a simulcast airing live on TNT and TBS.

At the Billy Barnes Extended Care Unit of Mt. Palms Hospital in Long Beach, Cal., the staff attends to the needs of female patients who are often “getting on” in years, while dealing with the challenges of a health-care bureaucracy in need of an overhaul.

On June 1 from 6-8 pm, The Shakespeare Society will host their third annual Playing Shakespeare Celebration at The Players (16 Gramercy Park South).

In response to popular demand, Soho Rep. announces a second extension of the New York premiere of David Adjmi's award-winning Marie Antoinette, directed by Rebecca Taichman, to November 24. Marie Antoinette brings Marin Ireland back to the theater where she won immense acclaim in Sarah Kane's Blasted. A previously announced performance on Sunday, Nov 17 at 7:30pm has been cancelled while a performance on Sunday, Nov 17 at 3pm has been added.

While 'Lee Daniels' The Butler' is generating Oscar buzz for its chronicle of several decades of African- American political life, two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright August Wilson masterfully documented a full century of the African-American experience in the 10 plays the make up the American Century Cycle. These works, nine of which have been staged on Broadway with stars including Denzel Washington, Viola Davis, Charles Dutton, among many others, showed the suffering, joys, and triumphs of African-Americans through searing, poetic and personal stories of everyday people in Pittsburgh, PA.
