Three-time Drama Desk nominee Parallel Exit returns to New York City with THE ARTIST WILL BE WITH YOU IN A MOMENT - an immersive audience experience featuring Joel Jeske in a solo comic performance as an artist, performer, and clown.A creative force who 'can get laughs simply by breathing' (The New York Times), Jeske invites audiences to participate in a multimedia performance and visual art installation with himself as the character, creator, and subject. The production offers Jeske's signature treatment of art, physical comedy, and audience interaction in a work that subversively asks us what we choose to value and why.

On the heels of World Circus Day on April 20th, BIG APPLE CIRCUS is thrilled to announce their first-ever, historic multi-city National Arena Tour, launching this summer in Georgia in partnership with Spectra.

BIG APPLE CIRCUS announces that real-life wonder women will take the reins of the 41st season, led by new ringmaster Stephanie Monseu, for their annual Boston-area appearance, playing this spring at Northshore Mall, Peabody. Playing under the Big Top, the show will run from April 4 - May 5, 2019 and will feature a new Mirror Room VIP experience leading into the Big Top tent, with craft circus treats and entertainment for all ages.

Parallel Exit, the three-time Drama Desk nominee for Unique Theatrical Experience, brought its unique brand of physical comedy to Usdan Summer Camp for the Arts.  Today's performance featured Artistic Director Mark Lonergan with Joel Jeske and Brent McBeth, shown here with a few of the Usdan campers.  They wowed the close to 1600-person crowd with an updated vaudeville style clowning which included jokes, magic and feats of wonder. The performance was presented as part of Usdan's 50th anniversary Festival series which has also included Flor de Toloache, an all female mariachi band; Mayhem Poets, and Sole Defined, among others.

BigTop Works, the new producers of BIG APPLE CIRCUS, have announced the full lineup of global artists and acts joining ten-time world record-holding high wire artist Nik Wallenda and fan favorite Grandma the Clown for BIG APPLE CIRCUS's triumphant return.

National Endowment for the Arts Chairman Jane Chu has approved more than $82 million to fund local arts projects and partnerships in the NEA's second major funding announcement for fiscal year 2016. Included in this announcement is an Art Works award of $30,000 to support Big Apple Circus' renowned community outreach programs: Clown Care®, Circus of the Senses, Big Apple Circus Embraces Autism, and Vaudeville Visits. This is the circus' third year of funding for the programs, helping to bring the arts to under-served populations for yet another season.
