BoHo Theatre is thrilled to announce plans for its upcoming 2017 season. Building on its rich, 13-year history, BoHo continues to bring an eclectic mix of musicals, dramas, and classic plays to Chicago stages focusing on emotional human relationships.

Blank Canvas Theatre is dedicated to inspiring a new love for those new to theatre in the Cleveland community, while providing another quality venue for those who already love the arts.

BoHo Theatre begins its 2017 season with URINETOWN, Mark Hollmann and Greg Kotis' satirical musical about corporate control, political greed, and the call of nature. In 2002, URINETOWN received Tony Awards for Best Book and Best Original Score. The production is directed by BoHo Artistic Associate Stephen Schellhardt. Previously at BoHo, Schellhardt assistant directed last season's FUGITIVE SONGS and choreographed the critically-acclaimed DOGFIGHT (Jeff Award nomination).

Coeurage Theatre Company, LA's Pay What You Want Company, has announced the extension and re-opening of Urinetown: The Musical. With music by Mark Hollmann, lyrics by Hollmann and Greg Kotis, book by Kotis, musical direction by Gregory Nabours, and directed by Kari Hayter, the extended run will begin on Friday, January 6 at 8pm and continue through February 25 at the Historic Lankershim Arts Center.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, a two-time Tony Award winner and latest recipient of the National Medal of Arts, is now accepting projects for development during the 2017 National Music Theater Conference. Applicants may submit music theater works for consideration through Friday, November 18th, 2016.

11th Hour Theatre Company kicks off its 12th season with its Next Step Concert Series and a performance of the hilarious musical Urinetown. With Music and Lyrics by Mark Hollmann and Book and Lyrics by Greg Kotis, this concert reading of this popular musical will run October 21-23 at The Arden's Studio Theatre at the Hamilton Family Arts Center. 62 N. The citizens must use public amenities, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity's most basic needs.  Amid the people, a hero decides he's had enough and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom.
