DANCENOW is pleased to announce the lineup for the 2014 DANCENOW Joe's Pub Festival. Featuring works by forty choreographers and their companies, the 2014 festival will be held over four evenings from September 3 to 6, with an encore performance on September 13. The exciting lineup of artists features many fan favorites, including festival veterans and returning artists, alongside rising stars and festival newcomers. 2014 marks the 19th annual season of the DANCENOW Festival.

The schedule for this summer's Lincoln Center Out of Doors festival, which runs from July 20 to August 10, was announced today by Bill Bragin, Lincoln Center's Director of Public Programming. Nearly 100 free performances will take place across the plazas of Lincoln Center during three weeks. A special Memorial Concert for Pete and Toshi Seeger on July 20 will be followed by the official opening concert on July 23 with Larry Harlow's Hommy: A Latin Opera, the landmark work's first performance in 40 years. As part of the second annual Live Ideas festival, James Baldwin, This Time!, New York Live Artspresents Baldwin Through Dance: Charles O. Anderson and Dianne McIntyre. The shared program features the world premiere of Time is Time created and performed by acclaimed dancer and choreographer Dianne McIntyre, and the New York City premiere of Charles O. Anderson's Restless Natives.

Renowned choreographer Mark Dendy's (Lincoln Center's Out of Doors and The Met's The Magic Flute) work "We Are The Ones" will be performed Sunday, January 12 during the 11:15 AM worship celebration at Middle Collegiate Church.

Roulette, celebrating 35 years of new and adventurous performance, is thrilled to present Sally Silvers has been making dances for 30 years & her association with Roulette goes back almost as far. Following on the success of her highly acclaimed 'A Prize Every Time' maverick choreographer Sally Silvers returns to Roulette with 'Surprise Every time'. Watch dance created live and on the spot as choreographers and theater artists start from scratch making something brand new and unexpected in front of your eyes!

Gotham Chamber Opera, in collaboration with Works & Process at the Guggenheim presents selections from Daniel Catán's 1988 opera, La hija de Rappaccini (Rappaccini's Daughter), in A Musical Journey, From Venice to Tuscany and back again 1851-1991 onAugust 26, 2013 at 9pm at the Courtyard at Guggenheim-Venice.

KRONOS AT 40, twenty-eight concerts and events (today, July 24-28), curated collaboratively by Lincoln Center Director of Public Programing Bill Bragin and Kronos Quartet's artistic director David Harrington, opens the 2013 edition of Lincoln Center Out of Doors. The mini-festival will spotlight daily appearances by Kronos, on its own and with special guests, includingMariana Sadovska, Magda Giannikou, Jherek Bischoff and Dan Deacon, whose composition features one of his most recent crowd-participation creations: a light-show generated by audience smartphones via his downloadable app.

Northrop at the University of Minnesota announces the recipients of the 2013 McKnight Artist Fellowships for Choreographers and the McKnight Artist Fellowships for Dancers. Each Fellow receives a $25,000 fellowship award.

Dance from the Heart returns to New York City Tonight - Monday, January 28 and tomorrow Tuesday, January 29, 2013 with shows at 6:30pm & 8:30pm each night at Cedar Lake Theater, 547 W. 26th Street in Manhattan's West Chelsea Historic District. The exciting benefit will feature performances by more than a dozen of the most diverse dancers, dance companies and choreographers working today. Dance from the Heart will present a different program of performances for each night (see schedule below), a poignant anti-bullying number danced by teenagers and the world premiere of a piece choreographed by American Ballet Theatre principal dancer Marcelo Gomes.
