At long last, Nick Kroll and John Mulaney's wildly popular alter egos, Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland, have made their debuts on The Great White Way in their acclaimed masterpiece, Oh, Hello on Broadway. Performances for Oh, Hello on Broadway began on Friday, September 23 at The Lyceum Theatre (149 West 45th Street), where it will run through January 8, 2017. Alex Timbers directs.

Lindsay Mendez and Sally Ann Triplett Join Abingdon Theatre's WAR OF THE WORLDS Gala 10/24

Abingdon Theatre Company has added Lindsay Mendez and Sally Ann Triplett to its benefit reading of Orson Welles' WAR OF THE WORLDS. The one-night only event, directed by Abingdon's Artistic Director Tony Speciale, will be held on Monday, October 24 at 7:00pm at NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts (566 LaGuardia Place, NYC). Off-Broadway Hit A ROOM OF MY OWN Opens 9/22 at The Seven Angels Theatre

After a sold out run at The Abingdon Theatre in NYC earlier this year, Charles Messina's hysterical nostalgia piece A ROOM OF MY OWN, about growing up in a one room apartment in Greenwich Village in the 70s, opens a limited run at The Seven Angels Theatre in Waterbury, Conn.  Previews begin September 22nd.

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of 'Beauty and the Beast,' Walt Disney Studios and the Film Society of Lincoln Center presented an exclusive screening of the beloved animated classic at Alice Tully Hall. In celebration of the 25th anniversary of 'Beauty and the Beast,' The Walt Disney Studios and the Film Society of Lincoln Center presented an exclusive screening of the beloved animated classic at Alice Tully Hall. It was here, in September 1991, that a work-in-progress version of 'Beauty and the Beast' was first screened at the New York Film Festival -- and received a standing ovation. This 'tale as old as time' went on to break ground as the first animated feature film to receive an Academy Award® nomination, and twenty-five years later audiences of all ages continue to fall in love with this enchanting tale, its captivating characters and unforgettable, award-winning music score and original song, 'Beauty and the Beast.'

Off-Broadway Smash RUTHLESS! to Close Tomorrow

The Off-Broadway smash RUTHLESS! THE MUSICAL will conclude its triumphant 14-month run tomorrow (Saturday) at St. Luke's Theatre, 308 West 46 Street (just west of Eighth Ave.) RUTHLESS! opened July 13, 2015 to unanimous rave reviews led by Entertainment Weekly which called the show, "Uproarious! A mash-up of THE BAD SEED, GYPSY, ALL ABOUT EVE, plus the films of Douglas Sirk and John Waters!" Just some of the celebrities spotted in the audience have included Ron Howard, Regis & Joy Philbin, Bernadette Peters, Lynn Cohen, Chelsie Hightower, Mario Cantone, Dmitry Chaplin, Laura Bell Bundy, Barbara Eden, Jan Maxwell, Legacy, Larry Thomas (The Soup Nazi), Jackie Hoffman, Sierra Boggess, and Dame Gillian Lynne. The original cast recording, produced by Robert Sher, is set for release this fall.
