Kicking off their exciting 27th main stage season - and continuing their mission to foster new works - the Bay Street Theatre offers the world premiere of Jack Canfora's new play Fellow Travelers. Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle award winner Michael Wilson directs the superb production running through June 17th at the adorable Sag Harbor venue.

Court Theatre, under the continuing leadership of Charles Newell, Marilyn F. Vitale Artistic Director, opens its 2018/19 season with August Wilson's Radio Golf, directed by Resident Artist Ron OJ Parson. Radio Golf runs August 30 - September 30, 2018 at Court Theatre, 5535 S. Ellis Ave. 

On May 31st, Rich Little, arguably the most famous impressionist in the world, was honored by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce during their Hollywood Hero ceremony with the Johnny Grant Award, along with Diahann Carroll (receiving the Mary Pickford Award).  

Mumford & Sons, Childish Gambino and Arctic Monkeys will headline this year's historic 20th Anniversary Voodoo Music + Arts Experience, bringing fans the ultimate Halloween Weekend October 26-28. ODESZA, Martin Garrix, A Perfect Circle, Modest Mouse, Marilyn Manson, The Revivalists, 21 Savage, Janelle Monáe, Third Eye Blind, Lettuce, Elle King, Lizzo and more will join the monumental lineup of over 65 bands on 4 stages from New Orleans' City Park.

Erin Sullivan has created (with help from co-writer Stephanie Rosenberg and co-conceiver Robin Milling) WITH LOVE, MARILYN, her one-woman homage to Marilyn Monroe. Sullivan nails Monroe's breathy line deliveries and body language, especially in recreating Monroe songs 'My Heart Belongs to Daddy' and her signature 'Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend.'

Marilyn! The New Musical officially opened last night, June 1, just in time for Marilyn's birthday. The original musical based on the life of Marilyn Monroe opened at Paris Las Vegas. Written, directed and produced by Tegan Summer, CEO of Prospect House Entertainment, in partnership with Authentic Brands Group, owner of the Estate of Marilyn Monroe, the new musical features acclaimed Broadway actress Ruby Lewis as the resident Marilyn Monroe.

Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Arthur Miller was renowned and celebrated for his masterpiece DEATH OF A SALESMAN, as well as ALL MY SONS and THE CRUCIBLE, plays in which issues of morality took center stage. He refused to name names when called before the House Un-American Activities Committee, spoke out agains the Vietnam War, and was an activist in many social causes, allowing him to be seen as the moral conscience of the nation. However, Bernard Weinraub reveals Miller's feet of clay in the world premiere of his play FALL, directed by Peter DuBois at Huntington Theatre Company's Calderwood Pavilion.

Schimmel Center will present Tony and Pulitzer Prize nominee Anna Deavere Smith's Obie Award-winning solo performance, Notes From the Field, for one weekend only on Friday, June 1 at 7:30 p.m. and Today, June 2 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in preparation for a two week run at the Royal Court in London. The production is directed by Leonard Foglia and features original music composed and performed by bassist Marcus Shelby who joins Ms. Smith on stage.

Producer Julian Schlossberg announces that Academy Award-nominated and Emmy Award-winning writer and actress Renee Taylor - known to millions for her role as Fran Fine's food-obsessed mother, Sylvia, on 'The Nanny' - will return to the New York stage this summer in MY LIFE ON A DIET, an autobiographical comedy written by Ms. Taylor and her late husband Joseph Bologna. Originally directed by Mr. Bologna, MY LIFE ON A DIET will have its New York premiere Off-Broadway at Theatre at St. Clement's (423 West 46 Street, between Ninth & Tenth Aves) beginning Thursday, July 12, 2018.

Principal Pops Conductor Michael Feinstein opens the 2018 Pasadena POPS Sierra Summer Concert Series on Saturday, June 23rd with That's Entertainment: Gershwin to Sondheim.
