ANGEL OF ARKANSAS to Premiere at Notoriety Live

“Angel of Arkansas,” a new show by Richard Oberacker and Robert Taylor, creators of Broadway’s Tony Award-winning musical “Bandstand,” will receive a premiere concert-style presentation at Notoriety Live in the 175-seat Renkus-Heinz Theatre on Sunday, Jan. 30, at 2 p.m. 

Storytelling Arts of Indiana Explores Race Relations and More in MY STORIED LIFE

Storytelling Arts of Indiana present a unique pairing of acclaimed storytellers to highlight diverse backgrounds and the similarities of the human experience. Carol Birch and Ray Christian will perform “My Storied Life” at Eugene & Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center on Saturday, February 12, 2022. Audiences can enjoy the performance in person while wearing masks and after showing proof of vaccination. They also have the option to watch the livestream from home.

Carlton Fine Arts Presents THE POP ART FESTIVAL Kicking Off On Jeff Koons Birthday January 21

​​​​​​​Carlton Fine Arts Ltd. will present the Pop Art Festival, kicking off on January 21st, the birthday of acclaimed artist Jeff Koons. The gallery will feature key works by Warhol, Basquiat, Wesselmann, Mr. Brainwash, and Devon. The little told story of Miller, Marilyn and Elia Kazan, the noted director who had been Miller's friend and Marilyn's lover, is the subject matter for The Unamerican, a new play written by Claude Solnik and directed by Joseph John Battista.

San Diego Opera's COSI FAN TUTTE Announces Cast Change

Mr. Kim was excited to make his North American debut at San Diego Opera and was impressed with the Company's safety protocols enacted to ensure the safety of the artists, staff, and audience, but needs to withdraw for personal reasons. The Company hopes to welcome him in the future. Mr. Brancy recently performed the role of Guglielmo in San Francisco Opera's production of Cosí fan tutte.

New Dates Announced For Court Theatre's THE LADY FROM THE SEA

Court Theatre, under the continuing leadership of Charles Newell, Marilyn F. Vitale Artistic Director, and Angel Ysaguirre, Executive Director, continues its 2021/22 season with The Lady from the Sea by Henrik Ibsen, translated by Richard Nelson, and directed by Shana Cooper. The Lady from the Sea now runs February 25 – March 27, 2022 at Court Theatre, 5535 S. Ellis Ave.
