Interactive Multi-Media Play HUMAN Plays at Wortham Center for Performing Arts

In the latest full production from writer-director and generative artist Nehprii Amenii, humanity has died off because it failed to hearken to its own hearts and did everything correct to make itself extinct. An octopus named Akashi could donate one of his three hearts to bring about what would hopefully be a more evolved and sensitive human. But Akashi isn't sure he wants to do that - he finds life to be better without humans.

Moliere In The Park's pen/man/ship Returns For 7 Live Virtual Performances

Molière in the Park, in partnership with the Prospect Park Alliance and LeFrak Center at Lakeside, will present a full virtual production of Christina Anderson's pen/man/ship, directed by Molière in the Park's Founding Artistic Director Lucie Tiberghien, running April 16 - 24, 2021. Previews begin April 16 for an April 18 opening.

Redhouse Launches New Associate Artists Program

Redhouse Arts Center is pleased to announce that it is launching a new Associate Artist Program. The Associate Artist is an honorary position that works exclusively with the Artistic Director and Director of Education on matters pertaining to artistic and educational programming. For the 2021 season, Scenic and Lighting Designer, Marie Yokoyama, and Director, Writer and Actor, Temar Underwood, will be the recipients.

Merrimack Repertory Theatre (MRT) today announced the cast for the buoyant Tiny Beautiful Things, Nia Vardalos' stage adaptation of The New York Times' bestseller Tiny Beautiful Things: Advice on Love and Life from Dear Sugar by Cheryl Strayed, directed by Jen Wineman, from September 11 to October 6 at the Nancy L.
