Pioneers Go East Collective Proudly Presents The World Premiere Of AMERICAN MILL NO. 2

Pioneers Go East Collective will present the World Premiere of American Mill No. 2, a new music-theatre and documentary work written and directed by Gian Marco Lo Forte, with music by Kamala Sankaram, and choreography by Maura Nguyen Donohue. The production, which is devised, performed and written by the Pioneers Go East Collective will begin on March 30, 2017, and run through April 9, 2017 at A.R.T./NY Theatres (502 West 53rd Street at 10th Avenue) as a limited engagement.

The Red House Arts Center to Present Sarah Ruhl's PASSION PLAY

The Red House Arts Center in Syracuse, NY presents Sarah Ruhl's ambitious, yet light hearted work, Passion Play.  Hailed by the New Yorker's John Lahr as "extraordinary", "bold", and "inventive," Passion Play takes us on a humorous, yet unsettling journey filled with lust, whimsy, and a lot of fish. Performances will take place at the Red House Arts Center main stage from April 7-17, 2016.

Frances Black Projects in association with CAP21 proudly presents Commedia dell'Artichoke, a new comedy about love, dreams, pizza and trying to make it in New York. This production, a contemporary take on commedia dell'arte - the classic Italian style of theatre with masked actors performing a blend of scripted and improvised comedic scenarios - plays January 15 - February 6 at the Gene Frankel Theatre (24 Bond Street, between Bowery and Lafayette).

Red House Arts Center presents 13: The Musical, with music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown and book by Dan Elish and Robert Horn, playing in its MainStage theatre from July 30th through August 8th. In this production, following a move from New York City to small-town Indiana, young Evan Goldman grapples with his parents' divorce, prepares for his impending Bar Mitzvah, and navigates the complicated social circles of a new school. 13: the Musical focuses on the fun-filled adventure of navigating through a world of cool kids & nerds, jocks & cheerleaders, first kisses & heartbreak. Will Evan come to understand how to survive the school year, not to mention, the rest of his life? 

Pan Asian Repertory Theatre to Present SAYONARA at Theater Row's Clurman Theater

PAN ASIAN REPERTORY THEATRE continues its 38th Season with a re-imagining of the epic musical, James A. Michener's SAYONARA. This classic story of romance and the power of love to overcome the conflict between two clashing cultures, the US Military and a world-famous all female Takarazuka dance theatre, has a book by William Luce, lyrics by Hy Gilbert, music by George Fischoff, and is adapted from the novel by James A. Michener. Directed by Tisa Chang, with choreography by Rumi Oyama, and musical direction by Sarah Brett England; the production will begin previews on July 5, 2015 and run until July 26, 2015 at the Clurman Theatre at Theatre Row (410 W 42nd Street between 9th and Dyer). The official opening is on Thursday, July 9 at 7:30PM.

The Performance Project @ University Settlement will present the World Premiere of TALA, a multicultural play about the immigrant experience written and directed by Kyoung H. Park. Produced by Kyoung's Pacific Beat, previews began January 8 at University Settlement with opening set for January 10. The show runs through January 23, 2015.

Pan Asian Repertory Theatre, now in its 38th Season, has announced the cast for the East Coast premiere of FILM CHINOIS, an atmospheric noir mystery set in 1940s China written by Singaporean playwright Damon Chua and directed by Kaipo Schwab. The production will begin previews on January 17, 2015 and run until February 8, 2015 at the Beckett Theatre at Theatre Row (410 W 42nd Street between 9th and Dyer). The official opening is on Thursday, January 22 at 7:30PM.

The Riant Theatre has announced that it will stage CODE OF SILENCE a drama Inspired by the 1997 Infamous case in the Bronx, in which a NY police officer was Indicted for using excessive force on a teen and killing him, as a featured production within the Strawberry Theater One-Act Festival, today, August 20th through August 31st at the Theatre at St. Clement's, 423 West 46th St. in Manhattan.
