The Acting Company Announces Complete Casting For WATCH ON THE RHINE Reading

The Acting Company (Founded by John Houseman and Margot Harley; Ian Belknap, Artistic Director; Elisa Spencer-Kaplan, Executive Director) announced today complete casting for the first reading in the 23rd John McDonald Salon Reading Series, Lillian Hellman's acclaimed drama Watch on the Rhine. The reading will take place on Monday, March 18 at 7 PM at the Mainstage Theater at Playwrights Horizons (416 W. 42nd Street, New York, NY). Tickets are available now online at www.theactingcompany.org.

Bryan Arias, Artistic Director of ARIAS Company, receives the Jacob's Pillow Fellowship at Tilles Center for the Performing Arts at LIU Post. The fellowship includes a $15,000 grant, a residency at the Pillow Lab, and a residency at LIU Tilles Center. The newly established Fellowship represents a shared vision between the two organizations to broaden resources that allow artists to thrive and bring new work to stages in Massachusetts, New York, and beyond.

Tribeca Film Festival 2019 Announces Feature Film Lineup

The 2019 Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today unveiled its feature film lineup. Continuing its tradition of elevating exceptional storytelling rooted in today's global film communities, the 18th annual Festival will showcase debut works from emerging talent and new works from notable filmmakers. The program includes discoveries, comedies, music-centered, political and social films. The 2019 Tribeca Film Festival takes place April 24 - May 5.

Vineyard Theatre Artistic Directors Douglas Aibel and Sarah Stern announce that casting of the New York premiere of Mara Nelson-Greenberg's DO YOU FEEL ANGER?, directed by Margot Bordelon, is now complete with Jeanne Sakata (HOLD THESE TRUTHS). Performances will begin at Vineyard Theatre (108 East 15th Street) on Wednesday, March 13 with opening night moved to April 2.

100 YARDS Available On DVD and Digital On Today

RLJE Films (NASDAQ: RLJE) will release 100 YARDS on Digital and DVD on March 5, 2019. The film stars Sean Patrick Flanery (“Dexter”), Steven Brewis (“Tabloid”), Danielle Rayne (“Switched at Birth”) and Rebecca Lim (“The Pupil”). The film is the directorial debut of screenwriter Ross Campbell who co-directed with Dale Fabrigar (Lonely Boy). RLJE Films will release 100 YARDS on DVD for an SRP of $27.97.

The film began production February 25 on location in Hungary and New York.

Evans, announces its 45th season, opening with Mother of the Maid by Jane Anderson, directed by BJ Jones and featuring Kate Fry. The season continues with the World Premiere of The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley, a companion piece to Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley by Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon, directed by Jessica Thebus; followed by the World Premiere of How A Boy Falls, by Steven Dietz, directed by BJ Jones; and Lynn Nottage's Intimate Apparel. Closing out the season is Songs for Nobodies by Joanna Murray-Smith, directed by Rob Lindley, featuring Bethany Thomas.

Will Smith Confirmed To Not Be Returning For SUICIDE SQUAD 2

According to Deadline, Will Smith is confirmed to not be returning for Warner Bros. SUICIDE SQUAD 2. He portrayed the role of Deadshoot in the first installment. The sequel is set to be directed by James Gunn, and released in 2021. No other additional casting has been confirmed at the moment. Charles Roven and Peter Safran are producing.
