Last Thoughts of Mary Stuart by June Sawyers is a dramatic reading about the final hours before Mary, Queen of Scots, was executed in 1587 at age 44. The reading will be preceded by a concert of music associated with or about Mary. Reading runs about 90 minutes without intermission.

Grosse Pointe Theatre invites audiences to the hallowed halls of Harvard Law as it continues its 71st Season with a production of Legally Blonde The Musical. The eight performance runs starts on January 20, 2019, at Pierce Auditorium, located at 15430 Kercheval Ave, Grosse Pointe Park, MI 48230. Parking is free. Complimentary valet is available. The Dallas Museum of Art (DMA) continued to strengthen and expand its exhibitions and educational programming, bilingual offerings, and curatorial team in 2018 with the appointment of new leadership across departments, the development of expanded education initiatives, and the acquisition of major works across its collections. In support of the DMA's commitment to engaging the community through programs anchored by its collections, three new curators and a new director of education joined the Museum in 2018, and the Museum expanded its off-site and bilingual program offerings. The Museum also added significant works to its collection, including 13 year-end gifts of 512 works of art in contemporary art, sculpture, photography, and the decorative arts. 

Actor and comedian Justin Long will join the cast of the New York premiere of Mara Nelson-Greenberg's DO YOU FEEL ANGER?, directed by Margot Bordelon. Performances will begin at Vineyard Theatre (108 East 15th Street) on Wednesday, March 13 with opening night set for Sunday, March 31.

Mattel and Warner Bros. will team up to bring Hot Wheels to theaters in the toy's first ever live-action feature film, according to Variety.

This June, The Royal Ballet pays tribute to Prima Ballerina Assoluta Dame Margot Fonteyn with a special programme of works celebrating the centenary of her birth. Margot Fonteyn: A Celebration will take place on 8 June 2019, with a performance of The Firebird, one of her signature ballets, alongside a selection of other works closely associated with one of ballet's most revered and influential dancers.

It's been announced today that Miranda favourite Sarah Hadland will join the cast of Admissions. Hadland will star opposite Alex Kingston (ER, Doctor Who) in the award-winning comedy, which opens at London's Trafalgar Studios on 28 February (Press Night 12 March).

Set in Paris during the 'naughty '90's' (1890s) period known as La Belle Epoch 'Beautiful Era', CAN-CAN! is a fun and frivolous new musical comedy adapted from Offenbach's original operetta Orpheus in the Underworld. 

San Francisco Playhouse announced casting for Lauren Yee's King of the Yees, headlined by Obie and Lucille Lortel Award-winning actor and San Francisco native Francis Jue. The play, centered on San Francisco's Chinatown, was inspired by Yee's family and their deep connections within the community. Joshua Kahan Brody will direct the Playhouse production.
