Phantom Collective Presents LAST THOUGHTS OF MARY STUART An Equity Staged Reading with Music

Last Thoughts of Mary Stuart by June Sawyers is a dramatic reading about the final hours before Mary, Queen of Scots, was executed in 1587 at age 44. The reading will be preceded by a concert of music associated with or about Mary. Reading runs about 90 minutes without intermission.

Six local broadcasters from “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” stations around the country will play the game opposite host Chris Harrison during “Play It Forward Week,” airing MONDAY, FEB. 18 – FRIDAY, FEB. 22. This season, the show will have given away more than $100 million in total winnings since its syndicated debut; and during this special themed week, each contestant will take on the classic 14-question game for the chance to win $1 million for their favorite charity.

After 10 days and 121 feature films, the 2019 Sundance Film Festival's Awards Ceremony took place tonight, with host Marianna Palka emceeing and jurors presenting 28 prizes for feature filmmaking. Honorees, named in total below, represent new achievements in global independent storytelling. Bold, intimate, and humanizing stories prevailed across categories, with Grand Jury Prizes awarded to Clemency (U.S. Dramatic), One Child Nation (U.S. Documentary), Honeyland (World Cinema Documentary) and The Souvenir (World Cinema Dramatic).

Grosse Pointe Theatre invites audiences to the hallowed halls of Harvard Law as it continues its 71st Season with a production of Legally Blonde The Musical. The eight performance runs starts on January 20, 2019, at Pierce Auditorium, located at 15430 Kercheval Ave, Grosse Pointe Park, MI 48230. Parking is free. Complimentary valet is available. In 1948, Grosse Pointe Theatre staged their inaugural show, Clarence by Booth Tarkington at Pierce Auditorium.

Dallas Museum Of Art Announces 2018 Acquisition And Program Highlights

The Dallas Museum of Art (DMA) continued to strengthen and expand its exhibitions and educational programming, bilingual offerings, and curatorial team in 2018 with the appointment of new leadership across departments, the development of expanded education initiatives, and the acquisition of major works across its collections. In support of the DMA's commitment to engaging the community through programs anchored by its collections, three new curators and a new director of education joined the Museum in 2018, and the Museum expanded its off-site and bilingual program offerings. The Museum also added significant works to its collection, including 13 year-end gifts of 512 works of art in contemporary art, sculpture, photography, and the decorative arts.
