Manhattan Theatre Club's American premiere of The Royal Court Theatre's production of The Children begins the final two weeks of its run at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street). The production will play its final performance Sunday, February 4.

The Dramatists Guild of America will present Paula Vogel the 2016 Hull-Warriner Award for her play Indecent and David Yazbek the 2017 Frederick Loewe Award for Dramatic Composition for his score to The Band's Visit, next Monday, October 23, 2017. The event will be held at Kava Caf in midtown Manhattan.

MCC Theater has announced that this year's Miscast gala, an annual showstopper of the theater season, will honor Tony-winning, three-time Emmy-winning star of stage and screen and MCC alum Laurie Metcalf.
