SAFEhouse Arts, a nonprofit organization working to incubate new performing artists through residencies, workshops and performance opportunities, has announced the schedule for its ninth annual summer performance festival, SPF9, featuring ten programs over five days. SPF9 runs today, July 6 to Sunday, July 10 at ODC Theater in San Francisco.

Ronn Vigh previously produced the wildly popular weekly comedy series 'Harvey's Funny Tuesdays' at Harvey's in the Castro for ten years. Funny Tuesdays quickly became a pillar of the Castro and comedy communities. It was a place where you could always expect the unexpected, whether it be a surprise guest appearance by Margaret Cho or a group of naked men standing in front of the windows throughout the whole show. Funny Tuesdays gained a fierce following and also won 'Best Comedy Show in SF' by the Bay Area Reporter's Besties poll.
