Indie-Film darling Katie Folger will present the premiere of her new show, Getting in Bed with the Pizza Man written by and performed by Katie Folger directed by Matrex Kilgore.

In 2015, Backyard Renaissance's (BYR) first production out-of-the-gate was very much a couple-thing. Helmed by Director Lisa Berger and starring her husband Mike Sears, BYR founders, husband-and-wife team Francis Gercke and Jessica John, produced and co-starred in the production of Jez Butterworth's Parlour Song.

Daughter of the Bride follows the special relationship between DIANE (Marcia Gay Harden) and KATE (Halston Sage), who are not only mother and daughter but also best friends. However, their lives are turned upside down when Diane announces her engagement to a man named BRUCE (Aidan Quinn), whom she’s been secretly dating.

SO HELP ME TODD stars Academy Award winner Marcia Gay Harden, Skylar Astin, Madeline Wise, Tristen J. Winger, Inga Schlingmann and Rosa Arredondo. Scott Prendergast, Elizabeth Klaviter, Dr. Phil McGraw, Stuart Gillard, Jay McGraw and Julia Eisenman serve as executive producers.

William Shakespeare's joyous and popular comedy Much Ado About Nothing will open at Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, the professional theatre on the campus of DeSales University. The show previews July 13 and 14, opens July 15, and runs through August 7 in the Schubert Theatre at the Labuda Center for the Performing Arts.

A staged reading of award-winning playwright Marisela Treviño Orta's Latinx fairytale The River Bride will be presented for a limited engagement July 1 to July 3 at Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, the professional theatre on the campus of DeSales University in Center Valley, PA.
