The Garden of Dreams Foundation announced last night that Steve Schirripa is the recipient of the 2019 Garden of Dreams Hero Award. Established in 2009, the Hero Award honors organizations or individuals annually that embody the spirit of the Garden of Dreams Foundation through an active and ongoing dedication to positively impacting the lives of children facing obstacles, while serving as a driving force and inspiration for others.
The Garden of Dreams Talent Show is an annual event where children from various Garden of Dreams partner organizations are presented with the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform on the Great Stage at Radio City Music Hall. For one memorable evening in front of their family and friends, the children perform their talents, forgetting their problems and celebrating their unique voices. The Talent Show and multiple rehearsals leading up to the big night attract many notable guests as mentors.
