Bated Breath Theatre Company announces a fifth extension of their acclaimed immersive, environmental production UNMAKING TOULOUSE-LAUTREC, selected as one of the 11 a?oebest immersive plays and interactive theatrical experiences on Broadway and beyonda?? by Time Out. Performances will now continue through February 5, 2020 on a new performances schedule at Madame X in Manhattan's historic Greenwich Village, where performances began on May 8. Additional performances on December 6, 7 & 14 have also been added.

Bated Breath Theatre Company will celebrate Toulouse-Lautrec's 155th birthday with special added performances on Friday, November 22 at 6:30pm & 8pm of their acclaimed immersive, environmental production UNMAKING TOULOUSE-LAUTREC, selected as one of the 11 a?oebest immersive plays and interactive theatrical experiences on Broadway and beyonda?? by Time Out. Audiences attending the 6:30pm performance are invited to come at 5pm for some complimentary birthday cake and wine at Madame X in Manhattan's historic Greenwich Village (where Madonna recently celebrated her birthday).

BATED BREATH THEATRE COMPANY (Mara Lieberman, Exec. Artistic Director) in partnership with BROADWAY BUZZ (Bryan Campione) and BROADWAY CREW, the full-service boutique promotional company, hosted a special performance of the immersive theatre production,  “UNMAKING TOULOUSE-LAUTREC” on Monday, October 21 at Madame X (94. West Houston, SoHo).

Bated Breath Theatre Company will present a special free industry-only performance of their acclaimed site-specific, environmental production UNMAKING TOULOUSE-LAUTREC, selected as one of the 11 'best immersive plays and interactive theatrical experiences on Broadway and beyond' by Time Out. It will be presented Monday, October 21 at 7:30pm at Madame X in Manhattan's historic Greenwich Village, where performances began on May 8 and continue through January 8, 2020.

Previews begin May 8 at "the sexiest bar in New York City,"Madame X, in Manhattan's historic Greenwich Village with opening set for May 29.

Bated Breath is excited to welcome Lisa Timmel as its new Managing Director. Ms. Timmel is an experienced independent dramaturg who specializes in new play development and production. Previously, she was the director of new work at The Huntington Theatre Company in Boston where she collaborated with an impressive slate of emerging and established playwrights. Ms. Timmel has also served as director of new play development at Playwrights Horizons, interim dramaturg and advisor to the Emerging Writers Group at the Public Theater, and artistic producer at Carole Shorenstein Hayes Productions.

Curator and producer Peter Musante (Andrew Schneider's YOUARENOWHERE; Blue Man Group; Trusty Sidekick's Up and Away, a groundbreaking show for kids with autism, called 'immersive theater at its most thoughtful' by the New York Times) joins West Coast physical comedienne Summer Shapiro ('raises the craft of clowning to new levels'- NYTheatre.org) to conceive of a new immersive theater festival for the entire family, inspired by the community organizing principles of Jane Jacobs. With seven new works based on true events from Greenwich Village history, the festival brings together leading NYC experimental theatre artists, musicians, physical comedians and clowns for two programs, each consisting of an interactive pre-show and four short stories that bring the surrounding neighborhood to life. The event, recommended for ages 5 and up, is presented by New Ohio Theatre as part of its Theatre for Young Minds holiday series. The performances run from December 20 thru 31 at 154 Christopher Street, NYC.
