Renowned international music conservatory Manhattan School of Music has announced that acclaimed composer, conductor, and saxophonist Jim Saltzman has been appointed Dean of the School's prestigious Jazz Arts division, effective July 1, 2025.
Scheduled for release on May 23, 2025 via Summit Records, the fourth album by the Pete McGuinness Orchestra, Mixed Bag is the band’s most ambitious offering to date, ranging from unbridled swing to simmering bossa nova, elegant balladry to bracing modernism.
