Photo Flash: A.C.T. Stages VIETGONE

Following sold-out houses at Oregon Shakespeare Festival and New York's Manhattan Theatre Club, American Conservatory Theater continues its 2017-18 season with Qui Nguyen's critically acclaimed play, Vietgone. Hailed as a "raucous, immensely moving comedy" by the New York Times, Vietgone is a modern twist on the classic story of boy meets girl.

CONSTELLATIONS to Explore Love Across The Multiverse

Opening on Tuesday, February 27, Alberta Theatre Projects is bringing award-winning playwright Nick Payne's international hit Constellations to the Martha Cohen Theatre stage at Arts Commons. Running until Saturday, March 17, the reality-bending play tells the hilarious and touching story of the relationship between two Londoners - Marianne, a physicist at Cambridge University, and Roland, a beekeeper. This witty, modern take on romance explores all the ways love can bring us together or pull us apart.

Westport Country Playhouse Hosts Reading Of Award-Winning Drama THE WHIPPING MAN

Westport Country Playhouse will present a Script in Hand playreading of the award-winning drama, "The Whipping Man" by Matthew Lopez, a tale of loyalty, deceit, and deliverance, on Monday, March 19, at 7 p.m.  The reading will be directed by Anne Keefe, Playhouse associate artist and curator of the playreading series. Tickets are $20 each.

Road Theatre Company Extends A DELICATE SHIP

Stage West Presents the Regional Premiere of A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE GYNECOLOGIC ONCOLOGY UNIT AT MEMORIAL SLOAN KETTERING CANCER CENTER OF NEW YORK CITY

Two very different people thrown together in a hospital room where both their mothers are battling cancer--it's surely not the most auspicious first encounter. But after a hostile beginning, the two find they have some surprising common ground, in Halley Feiffer's outrageously funny, and ultimately touching, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Gynecologic Oncology Unit at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center of New York City. The play begins a 4-week regional premiere run at Stage West on Thursday, March 8.

Bridge Street Theatre Opens Its 2018 Season With FRANKIE AND JOHNNY IN THE CLAIR DE LUNE

What begins as a one-night-stand turns into a tug of war between a short-order cook who sees a lifetime of love and adventure ahead and a waitress who's been burned too many times in the past and is terrified of being hurt again in Terrence McNally's contemporary American classic "Frankie & Johnny in the Clair de Lune", being presented by Catskill's Bridge Street Theatre for eight performances only, Thursdays through Sundays March 29-April 8, 2017.

HEISENBERG Comes to Pittsburgh Public Theater

The boy-meets-girl story gets a facelift in Heisenberg, a new romantic comedy by contemporary British playwright Simon Stephens. This Pittsburgh premiere will be directed by Tracy Brigden (Disgraced, The Price at The Public). Soho Rep Adds Second Extension For IS GOD IS, Now Through 3/31

Monk Parrots announce casting for their New York premiere of Gabriel Jason Dean's (Princeton Hodder Fellow, Dramatist's Guild Fellowship, Broadway Blacklist) critically acclaimed play TERMINUS, directed by Lucie Tiberghien (The Other Thing, Don't Go Gentle, Soldier X, Hoodoo Love, The Pavilion). TERMINUS runs from February 17 - March 10, 2018 in a limited engagement at NEXT DOOR at NYTW, located at 83 East 4th Street between Bowery and 2nd Avenue in New York City.
