The Broad Stage has changed the launch of a new live series Cue & A with Robert Kraft to Wednesday, April 26 at 7:30pm.  This first evening features conversation, clips, commentary, live demonstrations and an audience Q & A with Emmy Award-winning composer and pianist Kris Bowers, whose recent credits include “Respect” and “King Richard.”

Today, the full list of nominees for the “53rd NAACP Image Awards” were announced. Nominees included Ariana DeBose, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Encanto, Cynthia Erivo, Audra McDonald, Respect, Taraji P. Last night, the winners were announced for the 79th Annual Golden Globe Awards. Among this year's winners were Rachel Zegler and Ariana DeBose for West Side Story, MJ Rodriguez from Pose, and Andrew Garfield for tick, tick...BOOM!

Films such as West Side Story, tick, tick...BOOM!, Cyrano, Encanto, and In the Heights were recognized this morning by the Hollywood Foreign Press. Nominees also included Peter Dinklage, Denzel Washington, Cynthia Erivo, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ewan McGregor, Uzo Aduba, Aaron Sorkin, Hannah Waddingham, Steve Martin, Martin Short, and more.

Chrissy Metz and Susan Kelechi Watson, the multi-award-winning co-stars of NBC’s “This Is Us,” will host this year’s telecast from Pasadena, California. Emmy and Peabody Award-winning actor, director, educator and lifelong children’s literacy advocate LeVar Burton was previously announced by the Tournament of Roses as this year’s Grand Marshall.

On May 1st, Master Teacher Richard Lawson will be joined by casting director Kimberly Hardin. Twenty actors will be given the opportunity to have their self-tape auditions assessed and redirected by Mr. Lawson and Ms. Hardin. Classes take place Saturday mornings at 10 AM PST via Zoom.

Entertainment One (eOne) announced today it has signed a significant deal with Australia’s FOXTEL for a package of prestigious feature films for Pay TV broadcast and SVOD rights.

We Stand Together, a one-night virtual benefit in support of justice for Black lives, will premiere at 7:00pm PDT on Thursday, July 23rd on both Youtube and Facebook.
