Peninsula Players Theatre, in conjunction with its production of Christopher M. Walsh's "Miss Holmes," will host Agatha Christie scholar Dr. Christopher Chan Saturday, July 21 at 6:30 p.m. who will speak about the Holmesian characters. Tickets to performances are available; admission to the pre-show seminar is free.

Peninsula Players Theatre, America's Oldest Professional Resident Summer Theatre and Door County's theatrical icon, announces artistic company members for its 83rd season, running June 12 through October 14, 2018.  The "must-see" 2018 season includes a world premiere comedy-drama, a thrilling new mystery, a delightfully funny musical, a sparkling new comedy and an intriguing new drama.

The Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival (NDSF) has announced the casting for its upcoming production of The Tragedy of Othello, the Moor of Venice. The flagship production of the 2018 season, Othello will feature stage & screen veteran Esau Pritchett in the title role, with celebrated stage actor Robert Ramirez returning to the NDSF stage as Iago, and featuring Delaney Feener as Desdemona, Maggie Kettering as Emilia, and Paul Hurley as Roderigo. Actors will be available for on- or off-camera interviews on July 31, 2018.

Milwaukee Repertory Theater announces casting for the 2017/18 Season Fall shows including Souvenir, The Who & The What, Murder For Two, and Holmes and Watson.

Milwaukee Repertory Theater's 2017/18 Season is filled with timeless classics, award-winning contemporary works and full-scale musicals spanning 13 productions in four theaters. Players Theatre will present a play reading ofChristopher M. Walsh's "Miss Holmes" on Monday, April 3 at 7 p.m. at Bjorklunden, 7590 Boynton Lane, Baileys Harbor. "Miss Holmes" is a thrilling new murder mystery inspired by the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and is the final offering of The Play's the Thing, a winter play reading series produced by Players for the Door County community. General seating is available; no admission fee.

Peninsula Players Theatre presented a reading of "Population 485" by Michael Perry at Bjorklunden Monday, February 6 to an audience of more than 150.  "Population 485" was produced as part of The Play's the Thing, a winter series of play readings organized by Peninsula Players Theatre.   

Citadel Theatre's 2016-17 season continues with Molly Smith Metzler's Elemeno Pea, a comedy about social class and sibling rivalry that premiered at the 2011 Humana Festival of New Plays and has since enjoyed productions across the country in prestigious theaters like South Coast Repertory in southern California, Pittsburgh's City Theatre and Atlanta's Horizon Theatre.
