Players Theatre will present a play reading ofChristopher M. Walsh's "Miss Holmes" on Monday, April 3 at 7 p.m. at Bjorklunden, 7590 Boynton Lane, Baileys Harbor. "Miss Holmes" is a thrilling new murder mystery inspired by the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and is the final offering of The Play's the Thing, a winter play reading series produced by Players for the Door County community. General seating is available; no admission fee.

Peninsula Players Theatre presented a reading of "Population 485" by Michael Perry at Bjorklunden Monday, February 6 to an audience of more than 150.  "Population 485" was produced as part of The Play's the Thing, a winter series of play readings organized by Peninsula Players Theatre.   

Citadel Theatre's 2016-17 season continues with Molly Smith Metzler's Elemeno Pea, a comedy about social class and sibling rivalry that premiered at the 2011 Humana Festival of New Plays and has since enjoyed productions across the country in prestigious theaters like South Coast Repertory in southern California, Pittsburgh's City Theatre and Atlanta's Horizon Theatre.

Great Lakes Theater (GLT), Cleveland's Classic Company, continues its 2016-17 season with William Shakespeare's classic comedy, Love's Labour's Lost. The production will be performed in the company's intimate and audience-friendly home at the Hanna Theatre, Playhouse Square, April 8 - 24, 2016. Tyne Rafaeli directs the production. Great Lakes Theater (GLT), Cleveland's Classic Company, commences the second half its 2016-17 season with Agatha Christie's classic mystery thriller, And Then There Were None. The production will be performed in the company's intimate and audience-friendly home at the Hanna Theatre, Playhouse Square, February 26 - March 20, 2016. Charles Fee, GLT's Producing Artistic Director, directs the production. And Then There Were None is presented through special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, INC.

A tiny village named Killucan set in contemporary Ireland ignites family fueds and past ghosts in an irrepressible production titled Outside Mullingar at Peninsula Players Theatre. John Patrick Shanley's 2014 play flames the deep fires of hearth and heath burning in his four Irish characters: Tony Reilly, and his son, Anthony, and then their next door neighbors, Aoife Muldoon, and her daughter, Rosemary.

The Shakespeare Theatre Company, recipient of the 2012 Regional Theatre Tony Award, presents Shakespeare's Henry IV, Parts 1 and 2 as part of the Clarice Smith Repertory. STC Artistic Director Michael Kahn will direct both parts of this sweeping epic - one of Shakespeare's culminating achievements in the history play genre - over multiple nights. As Kahn says, describing Parts 1 and 2 as his favorite Shakespearean drama: 'It brings to the stage every issue we as human beings experience.' The two productions will run in the Company's Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW) from today, March 25 - June 8, 2014.
