Famed film and television star Rob Lowe ('Brothers & Sisters') will guest star in the 4th season of the SHOWTIME hit comedy series CALIFORNICATION. Lowe will play charismatic yet self-possessed, award-winning movie star 'Eddie Nero,' a possible contender to play Hank in the film version of his hit novel as it gets turned into a film on this season of the show. Lowe will appear in at least one episode but could possibly recur.
Noted film and television star Carla Gugino (Watchmen) will suit up as a sexy defense attorney on the 4th season of the hit SHOWTIME comedy CALIFORNICATION. Gugino will be a guest star in 10 of the series' 12 episodes.

Phylicia Rashad has been announced to step into the role of Violet Weston in the Broadway production of August: Osage County. Rashad will follow Deanna Dunagan and Estelle Parsons in the part and will join the show on May 26.

February 3rd, 2009 was a very special day at the Music Box Theatre because August: Osage County celebrated its 500th performance (that's a lot of drugs, fights, fish and smashed plates!), BroadwayWorld sent in the cameras to capture all the 'family fun'!
