Playwright, Neuroscientist, RADIOLAB Host Set for MTC's INCOGNITO Panel

Manhattan Theatre Club, in partnership with the Alfred P. Lauren Molina, Heidi Armbruster & More to Take Part in Keen Teens Benefit Reading Next Week

The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company will present a benefit reading in honor of the Tenth Season of Keen Teens on Monday March 21st at The Clurman Theatre, Theatre Row.   Casts will feature current Keen Teens, KT alumni, and professional actors including Heidi Armbruster, Laura Esterman, Peter Jay Fernandez, Autumn Hurlbert, Ted Koch, KK Moggie, Lauren Molina, Chris Perfetti, Jay Russell, Conor Ryan, and Keen Artistic Director Jonathan Silverstein as 'Principal Forsman.' All proceeds from the 10th Anniversary Readings will help support the continued growth of the Keen Teens program.

City Theatre to Continue Season with SEX WITH STRANGERS

The 2015-16 season at City Theatre continues with one of the hottest plays in the country this year. Sex with Strangers, by Laura Eason (Netflix's "House of Cards"), runs on the Mainstage, March 12 - April 3, 2016. It is directed by Christian Parker.

Dramatists Guild Fund's Traveling Masters Program Enlists Playwright Madeleine George

The Dramatists Guild Fund (DGF) announces that playwright Madeleine George will conduct a master class with students and early career writers at the College of Charleston (66 George Street Charleston, South Carolina 29424) on February 5th at 4:00 PM, during the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival as part of the Traveling Masters Program.

Keen Company's Teens Program Returns for 10th Year

The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company (Jonathan Silverstein - Artistic Director, Mark Armstrong - Keen Teens Producer) will present the Tenth Season of Keen Teens.  This season's offerings will be Thirty Million, a new musical with music and lyrics by Max Vernon; book by Jason Kim, directed by Mark Armstrong, with choreography by Brad Landers and musical direction by Lena Gabrielle; Landlines by Hannah Bos and Paul Thureen, directed by Liz Carlson; and How The Moon Would Talk by Nick Gandiello, directed by Sash Bischoff. Auditions will be February 3rd through 5th. City Theatre Welcomes Playwright Mat Smart for Residency, Beginning Today

? City Theatre is excited to welcome playwright Mat Smart for a writing residency November 17-19, 2015. The residency will be tailored to Smart's individual creative needs and offer him full use of City Theatre's resources, a developmental reading with local actors, and artistic support from Director of New Play Development Clare Drobot and Artistic Director Tracy Brigden. Fulfilling its mission that emphasizes new play development, City Theatre also commissions works by diverse writers and produces world premiere productions, including this season's Some Brighter Distance by Keith Reddin, which will run January 23-February 14, 2016. City Theatre hosts an annual festival of new plays at different stages of development called Momentum, which will take place June 2-5, 2016.

Billy Porter and Anthony Rapp to Celebrate A BROADWAY HOLIDAY at City Theatre, 12/14

City Theatre gets festive with A BROADWAY HOLIDAY, a one-night-only concert featuring performances by award-winning Broadway stars Billy Porter and Anthony Rapp. With local talents Maria Becoates-Bey, Daina Michelle Griffith, and Billy Hartung, the special performance will include hit Broadway songs as well as a variety of holiday favorites.

THE (CURIOUS CASE OF THE) WATSON INTELLIGENCE Launches Kickshaw Theatre's 2015-16 Season Tonight

Kickshaw Theatre is pleased to kick off its inaugural season with a staged reading of THE (CURIOUS CASE OF THE) WATSON INTELLIGENCE by Madeleine George. The free reading will be held at Workantile 118 S. Main St., Ann Arbor, MI 48104 tonight, October 30th at 7PM. It will feature Lynn Lammers' directorial debut as Kickshaw Theatre's founding Artistic Director.

WAM Theatre's HOLY LAUGHTER Opens 11/1

 Previews for WAM Theatre's mainstage production of Holy Laughter by Catherine Trieshmann start on Thursday, October 29 and run through Saturday, October 31 at 7:30 pm at the Sydelle and Lee Blatt Performing Arts Center at 36 Linden Street in Pittsfield. Tickets for preview performances are just $18. This developmental workshop production officially opens at the 2 pm performance on Sunday, November 1, and continues performances Fridays at 7:30 pm, Saturdays at 2 & 7:30 pm, and Sundays at 2 pm through November 22. The production is recommended for ages 13 and up.

En Garde Arts Kicks Off BOSSS Festival This Weekend

En Garde Arts presents BOSSS, its new site-specific outdoor performance festival featuring new works by some of the New York City's most promising emerging theatre artists, this weekend, October 23-25 throughout Hudson River Park. The opening night party at The Frying Pan will now take place on October 23 at 7pm. (Tickets for the opening night party, on board the Frying Pan at Pier 66, are $250 or $75 for artists.)

WAM Theatre Sets HOLY LAUGHTER Events

As usual, WAM Theatre is offering a variety of audience enrichment events in conjunction with their fall MainStage production. This year's events include a lobby display featuring this year's beneficiaries, talkbacks with the cast and design team and a writing workshop on comedy with the playwright.
