Atlantic Theater Company's world premiere musical Kimberly Akimbo opened just last night for a limited engagement through Sunday, December 26th, 2021, Off-Broadway at the Linda Gross Theater (336 West 20th Street). The new musical features book and lyrics by Pulitzer Prize-winner David Lindsay-Abaire, music by Tony Award-winner Jeanine Tesori, based on the critically acclaimed play of the same name by David Lindsay-Abaire, choreography by Danny Mefford, and direction by Jessica Stone
Black Button Eyes Productions Presents the World Premiere of MARY ROSE At The Edge Theater

Black Button Eyes Productions will conclude its 2021-22 season this winter with the world premiere musical Mary Rose, featuring book and lyrics by Producing Artistic Director Ed Rutherford, music and lyrics by Jeff Bouthiette, adapted from play of the same name by J.M. Barrie (Peter Pan), directed by Ed Rutherford with music direction by Nick Sula and choreography by Derek Van Barham.

Following in the footsteps of The Sound of Music, Peter Pan, The Wiz, Hairspray, and Jesus Christ Superstar, the peacock network will be presenting Annie. Based on Harold Gray's comic strip titled Little Orphan Annie, this musical tells the story of a little orphan with equal measures of pluck and positivity who charms everyone's hearts, despite a next-to-nothing start in New York City in the year 1933.

This past Thursday, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade was able to operate at full capacity. While I watched it from my own home with my family, it was very refreshing to see the fans filling the stands on the broadcast. In addition to the spectacular Radio City Rockettes, Broadway’s Moulin Rouge!, Six, and Wicked all took to the Macy’s stage.

Yesterday, the Broadway casts of Wicked, Six, and Moulin Rouge performed at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Harry Connick Jr., Celina Smith, and the cast of Annie Live also performed 'I Don't Need Anything But You' and 'Tomorrow'. Sara Bareilles, Rene Elise Goldsberry, Jordan Fisher and Darren Criss also performed from floats.
