Second Street Players proudly present Miracle on 34th Street adapted by Mountain Community Theater from the novel by Valentine Davies. Performance dates are November 23rd, 24th, 25th , 30th December 1st and 2nd.

At an SRO ceremony held at Zion Lutheran Church in Pittsfield, the Board of the Berkshire Theatre Critics Association presented the Berkshire Theatre Awards on the evening of Monday, November 12, 2018. This was the third year the awards have been presented to honor and celebrate the excellence and diversity of theatre in the greater Berkshire region.

Following the success of the premiere performance in October, we are pleased to announce an encore performance. Coming up in the United Solo Theatre Festival at Theatre Row, 410 West 42nd Street, New York City, November 15th, 7:30 pm

The Orleans Hotel and Casino will bring celebrated entertainment to The Orleans Showroom in December, including exclusive previews of the documentary "Feek's Vision," the holiday shows Home for Christmas with Lani Misalucha and "Merry Christmas Darling: Carpenters' Christmas,"  as well as swing revival group Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Based on the beloved classic film, Miracle on 34th Street tells the tale of last-minute Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Santa-replacement Kris Kringle, who may or may not be THE Santa Claus, and the people who take him in. Filled with humor, spectacle, and treasured songs such as My Wish, Expect Things to Happen, and It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas, this festive, heart-warming musical is a must-see for the family this holiday season.

Bekah Brunstetter's THE CAKE rises to perfection in Stray Cat Theatre's current production, baked with exacting precision and balance by director Katie McFadzen, and seasoned with outstanding performances by Jodie Weiss, Megan Holcomb, Racquel McKenzie, and Christopher Haines. Runs through November 24th at Tempe Center for the Arts.

Cincinnati Opera and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) are pleased to announce that The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation has awarded a new grant of $550,000 to renew funding for Opera Fusion: New Works and support two new initiatives to promote diverse voices in the arts.

Works & Process, the performing arts series at the Guggenheim, presents Sergei Prokofiev's charming children's classic Peter & the Wolf.Isaac Mizrahi narrates and directs as Brad Lubman (Dec 1-2) and Oliver Hagen (Dec 7-9) conduct Ensemble Signal and a cast wearing costumes by Mizrahi performs choreography by John Heginbotham, bringing the 30-minute story to life for the young and young at heart.

NYU Skirball will present the NYC premiere of Fantasque, an ebullient and magical pageant by Dance Heginbotham, created by choreographer John Heginbotham and puppeteer Amy Trompetter, for three performances, on Saturday, November 17 and Sunday, November 18, 2018.

Tis the season for holiday theatergoing! This year, Goodman Theatre offers two choices for Chicago audiences-Charles Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol, now in its 41st year, and the Goodman debut of David Sedaris' contemporary, irreverent The Santaland Diaries, adapted by Joe Mantello.

The Actors' Gang has announced an extension of 'Johnny Got His Gun' at the Ivy Substation, adding two performances, a matinee performance on November 11th, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I and Veteran's Day and an evening performance on November 14th. The stage adaptation of Academy Award-winning screenwriter Dalton Trumbo's war novel, Johnny Got His Gun, written by Bradley Rand Smith and directed by Tim Robbins, began previews on October 6th and opened October 13th.

The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati gets audiences in the holiday spirit this season with SANTA CLAUS: THE MUSICAL, December 8-17, 2018 at the Taft Theatre.

Food Network announced today it will go live Sunday, November 18th, with a cross-platform Choose Your Side experience, offering Thanksgiving recipes, tips and inspiration across the brand's linear and digital properties including Facebook Live, on-air programming and digital series Food Network Finds. Choose Your Side marks the official start for Food Network's Thanksgiving week special feature, Feast Week, which is full of Thanksgiving-themed content from viewers' favorite Food Network personalities.
