Based on stories by Nobel Prize Winner Alice Munro, the world premiere of Stories by Alice Munro: "The Office" and "Dolly" opened a six-week run in San Francisco to critical acclaim and sold out houses on March 7, 2015. Coming to Toronto in mid-April for it's only Canadian stop, "Stories by Alice Munro" will show just five performances over four days before heading off for a month long tour in France. Munro has never before given the rights to her short stories for a full-scale professional theatrical production of this nature in Canada before this.

MULTISTAGES THEATRE is pleased to announce the world premiere of Desi Moreno-Penson's Comida de Puta (F%&king Lousy Food), directed by producing artistic director Lorca Peress. Comida de Puta (F%&king Lousy Food) will play a limited engagement at The West End Theatre (Church of St Paul and St Andrew at 263 West 86th Street, New York, NY 10024). Performances begin Wednesday, April 8th and continue through Sunday, April 26th. Opening Night is Friday, April 10th at 8 p.m.

Word for Word presents the company's full theatrical production of 2015, Stories by Alice Munro: 'The Office' and 'Dolly' under the direction of Joel Mullennix to open on Saturday March 7 (Press opening) and run through April 12, 2015 at Z Below in San Francisco's Mission/SOMA district. 'Alice Munro's short stories are revelatory in nature. She writes about the quotidian in our lives, enhanced by her subtle wit, and her deep perception of hidden desires. Word for Word performed Munro's Friend of My Youth for our 6th Anniversary in 1999, and since then, have wanted to enter again the world of this prolific and profound writer...' remark Artistic Directors Susan Harloe and JoAnne Winter.

All tickets for the initial run of the production are $25 as part of the Signature Ticket Initiative: A Generation of Access.
